This Scene in Infinity War Confirms that Strange knew Doom Was Coming⚡
In Infinity War, Iron Man and the Guardians successfully pin Thanos down.
Since Doctor Strange already saw the future, why didn't he just cut off Thanos's head right there?
The Hidden Plan: Strange wasn't trying to stop Thanos-he was planning for an even bigger threat in the future: Doctor Doom.
The Loki Loophole: Strange picked the one winning timeline where the Avengers are forced to time travel.
By doing this, they accidentally allow the 2012 variant of Loki to escape with the Tesseract.
The Ultimate Setup: Strange knew that freeing Loki was the only way to set up a defense against Doctor Doom. He let the snap happen on purpose just to get Loki on the board.
By doing this, he makes sure that loki saved the multiverse by holding all the Timelines.
Gunn's Superman is aging like milk getting worse with every new detail, while Snyder's trilogy ages like wine with awesome new details discovered all the time.
@mjarbo This is an understatement. I haven't seen the 're-imagined' version of F4, but given that Kinberg was involved, I can see why it was so poorly received. X-Men Apocalypse was very disappointing and Dark Phoenix was plain rubbish.
I really do not like the idea of Simon Kinberg’s *Star Wars* trilogy becoming Episodes 10–12.
I understand why he got the job.
Kinberg co-created and produced *Star Wars Rebels* with Dave Filoni, so there is clearly trust there. He also knows how to deliver safe, accessible franchise entertainment for a studio.
That is exactly what worries me.
His *X-Men* movies, *Dark Phoenix*, and *Fantastic Four* involvement do not make me think he is the guy to carry *Star Wars* into its next major saga.
Especially when Lucasfilm already has a more immediate story sitting right in front of them.
*Ahsoka* Season 2. Thrawn. The Imperial remnants. The entire *Heir to the Empire* lane Filoni has been building toward.
And after *The Mandalorian and Grogu*, there is clearly still an audience for that corner of the franchise.
*Star Wars* should eventually move forward.
But jumping straight into Episodes 10–12 with Kinberg feels like trying to manufacture the next saga before Lucasfilm has rebuilt enough confidence in the brand.
Let Filoni finish the story already in motion.
Then worry about the next trilogy.
@JonnyRoot_@Outkick@FoxNews Star Wars is Star Wars - it'll be fine regardless. However, allowing Simon Kinberg anywhere near a Star Wars film is just another in long line of poor decisions.
Star Wars is on life support thanks to Disney...
After a 7-year hiatus from theaters, Star Wars released the Mandalorian and Grogu & its performing worse than indie horror film 'Obsession' ($750k vs $300M budget) and Solo
My latest for @Outkick/@FoxNews: foxnews.com/outkick-analys…
Simon Kinberg’s upcoming STAR WARS trilogy is “reportedly intended to function as Episodes 10 -12 of the ongoing Skywalker saga.”

@FabrizioRomano Milan just can't seem to get anything right at the moment. Cream however, eventually rises to the top - Milan are still one of the true greats of European football and eventually, they will be back.
🚨 BREAKING: Massimiliano Allegri as new Napoli head coach, here we go! 🔵💣
Former AC Milan manager accepts all the conditions offered by Napoli and he will sign in shortly.
Deal done. 🫱🏻🫲🏼
🥉 | @footyinsider247: Xabi Alonso is a “huge fan” of Florian Wirtz and is keen for Chelsea to sign him this summer in a sensational move.
Sources say Liverpool would be open to letting Wirtz go for the right deal even though they would publicly deny that.
@helroddlux@Carnage2469 The Snyder movies were superb, especially The Snyder Cut Justice League. However, the new DCU movies are also excellent and people should give them a chance - what's wrong with saying that both sets of films are great?
@Carnage2469 the cope is just sad ...it's okay to admit the Snyder movies were trash and did tons of damage to the brand
they are after all just movies not life
James Gunn's DCU is stumbling hard out of the gate — and the whole thing is already showing major cracks.Superman (2025) was meant to be the triumphant reboot that kicks off a new era. It topped out around $618M worldwide — solid domestically but a clear international underperformer that couldn't match the cultural heat or legs of past flagship launches. Not the universe-building momentum DC desperately needed.
Now the backlash is piling on for the next wave:
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has reportedly gone through eight test screenings with mostly mixed-to-negative feedback. Praise for Milly Alcock's performance, but heavy criticism for underwhelming action sequences, a weak villain (Krem), poor pacing, and an ending that's been rewritten multiple times. Reshoots are adding more Lobo and Superman cameos — a sign the studio doesn't fully trust the film to carry itself.
Lanterns (the HBO series) dropped a teaser that triggered instant backlash. Fans slammed the lack of green in the suits, the muted/“ugly” aesthetic, and the hyper-grounded True Detective-style tone that feels disconnected from classic Green Lantern mythology. The showrunner had to publicly address the controversy, but the early vibe is more gritty cop drama than cosmic superhero epic.
Bigger systemic issues remain:
Tonal whiplash: Hopeful, bright Superman vs. the cynical, ultra-violent Peacemaker/Creature Commandos energy — and now a darker Supergirl and grounded Lanterns. Still no clear cohesive universe.
Over-reliance on weird/obscure stuff early on while icons feel shaky. Delays, cancellations, and fan fatigue are real.
Casting & division: Lingering Snyderverse resentment, polarizing choices, and test screening red flags aren't building confidence.
Box office & cultural reality: In a post-MCU fatigue era, this reboot isn't catching fire. Warner Bros. instability adds more uncertainty.
Gunn has passion and past successes, but three-plus years in, the DCU feels like a collection of bumpy experiments instead of a confident new direction. No must-see event status, soft momentum on TV, and growing online skepticism.
DC deserves better than another patchwork era. Fans wanted hope and spectacle — not endless “it’s complicated” headlines. Is 2026 going to save it, or are we looking at more trouble ahead?

(Still early, but the warning signs keep multiplying.)
@BreitbartNews@NolteNC £500 million global would be a good result. DC is re-building and as long as early movies are breaking even, that is good enough for now. Of course future movies will need to start turning a profit, but if the interest builds, then they should be okay.
.@NolteNC: "Supergirl" is looking at a $47-65M opening, which would be a disaster for a superhero tentpole that costs $175 million to produce and at least another $75 million to promote.
That puts break-even at right around $500 million global. trib.al/nEGG45u
A new Avengers: Doomsday / Secret Wars rumor claims He Who Remains may have already “won” the Multiverse Saga before it even began ⚡
According to the report, the Sacred Timeline, incursions, TVA manipulation, and even Doctor Doom’s rise could all be part of a larger design connected to He Who Remains. The theory suggests Kang wasn’t truly defeated he simply created a system where every possible outcome still leads back to his control.
The article also connects this to the rumored Secret Wars plot points:-
• Doctor Doom trying to save the multiverse by creating Battleworld
• Doctor Strange potentially working with Doom
• Multiple universes collapsing together through incursions
• The Multiverse Saga ending in a soft reboot-style reset
This lines up with ideas from Marvel’s 2015 Secret Wars comics, where Doom becomes ruler of Battleworld after reality collapses. Some rumors even suggest Marvel repurposed parts of the old Kang Dynasty plans into Doom’s story after the Jonathan Majors situation.
Nothing is officially confirmed by Marvel yet, but if this turns out true, He Who Remains may end up being the mastermind behind the entire saga from Loki to Secret Wars.
@cosmicbooknews They need to stop relying on the opinions of people who spend their days following trends on social media and thinking that must be what everyone thinks. They also need to write clauses into the contracts of the actors stipulating that they do not engage in political discourse.
@bekoumovies Both Superman and The Batman were excellent films. Problem is that Warner Bros have had virtually no strategy for years, though it seems that they are finally getting somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised though, if interfering executives have been the main source of the issues.
James Gunn take on superman is as bad as Matt reeves take on Batman , This might seem harsh but hear me out :
-Both are mediocre movies makers at best ,
-Both have taken over the superman & Batman IPs with no previous DC experience,
-Both apart from 2 overrated successful movies have no memorable filmography not what so ever ,
-Both are making the movies that they wanna make & have nothing to do with the original source material ,
-Both of their superman & Batman movies underperformed & had no impact on merch sales ,
-Both have the worst superman & Batman suits to date ,
-Both had social media as the villain for some reason ,
-Both have the worst most disgusting fans online who have unlimited hatred toward the snyder verse & his fans ie GOTG Marvel fans & twilight fans ,
The ONLY difference that reeves takes things more seriously , that’s about it ,
If you think otherwise, you’re entitled to your own dumb opinion but you know I’m right .
Avengers: Doomsday has the same problem as The Boys…
People are going to watch it just to see how it all ends, then are most likely getting off the train after that.
This is what happens when you don’t respect your audience.
Hot Take: James Gunn’s “Man of Tomorrow” is already looking like another swing and a miss for Superman.
David Corenswet seems like a decent enough guy, but this casting and those costumes? Come on, man. This isn’t the Man of Steel we grew up with. Christopher Reeve gave us hope, strength, and pure heroism in a suit that actually looked iconic. Henry Cavill brought that modern power with texture and presence. This new version just feels… off.
The suit looks like cheap rubber/spandex that wrinkles like it was pulled out of the dryer. No real muscle definition, baggy in spots, and that “talcum powder to get into it” story from Corenswet tells you everything — it’s uncomfortable and doesn’t pop on screen. Where are the classic trunks vibe done right? Where’s the commanding presence? It screams “quirky Gunn comedy” instead of the inspiring symbol Earth needs.
And the supporting cast choices… Rachel Brosnahan as Lois feels miscast (too modern snarky, not the strong reporter from the comics), Nicholas Hoult as Lex could work but I’m not sold yet. We needed someone who embodies Superman, not another reboot trying to be “funny and different.”
Hollywood keeps ruining these legends. Bring back the reverence for the source material. Reeve is still king for a reason. What do you think — change my mind or are you with me on this? #Superman#ManOfTomorrow#DCU#JamesGunn
@ianmSC I agree with you on Kathleen Kennedy - placing her in charge has proven to be a very poor decision. However, Mando has been a fantastic TV series and I will reserve judgement on the film.
The Mandalorian and Grogu movie made $30 million less, inflation adjusted, in its first weekend than Solo, a film that was such a flop it ended plans for an entire trilogy
Giving control of Star Wars to Kathleen Kennedy destroyed it and cost Disney billions of dollars
