If this ceasefire winds up happening, the bold Iranian gambit to trade much of their senior leadership, most of their navy, at least half their missile launchers, the lives of thousands of security personnel, various bridges and rail lines, steel and petrochemical plants, their deterrence, their nuclear infrastructure, their air defenses, and the ability to use Dubai as a sanctions evasion hub for the possibility of charging tolls for merchant shipping on the Strait of Hormuz will have been a titanic failure x.com/Osint613/statu…

@DahliaLynn @jackunheard You don’t think civilians are going to die in the bombings? If he takes out their power facilities and there is no electricity indefinitely, how many die as a result of that? You all are disgraceful.

I’m convinced Trump’s threat to Iran this morning was just a giant IQ test because holy sh*t some of you are dumb. Yeah guys, Trump is going to kill 90 million people at 8PM tonight. Use your brains for once.

Here is what's really going on behind the scenes with Trump's declarations about Iran And no, Trump's not going to commit genocide... He is going to attack critical infrastructure that creates the most pressure on the IRGC's command and control capabilities...he'll probably also attack the leadership's financial interests The objective is to divide and conquer their "mosaic strategy" via uprisings and/or targeted military operations. The IRGC spread their forces out in Iran's 31 military provinces so the point is to cut off communication and transportation between them This creates the pressure necessary to force IRGC leadership to make a deal or eventually collapse All of this is legal and not a war crime even if civilians are indirectly affected The CIA and Mossad have not been sitting idle for the last month... This may work, or it may not...but you'd have to be stupid to think that Trump is going to spell this out for everybody. Also, regardless of what he does it's going to be reported as horrific and a genocide so he's just embracing the madman strategy at this point Also possible he extends the deadline or does limited strikes to continue applying pressure and sowing chaos within the IRGC ranks

Democrats are against his war only because Donald Trump is leading it. He’s literally carrying out what Hillary Clinton said America should do. She even says we should “obliterate” their nuclear program!
𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐦@Malcolm_Pal9

A resurfaced clip of Hillary Clinton from 2008 is circulating online in which she says, "I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran."

The guy just landed a spacecraft on a comet — one of the most impressive scientific achievements in years. His reward? A public struggle session because his bowling shirt had scantily clad women on it. Helen Andrews points out the quiet cost of institutional feminization: HR departments now hunt down any maverick personality and stamp it out. We’re losing innovators we’ll never even know about, all because someone focused on the shirt instead of the comet. This is how wokeness actually works. Have you seen real excellence get punished for something trivial like this?

Progressive politicians and activists love to frame high taxes as an honorable if mildly inconvenient necessity for funding neighborhood public schools and parks. This is a false premise for a number of reasons, but one of the most underrated is the way policymakers abuse what are called "tax increment financing" districts. Last year, Cook County's 400+ TIF districts intercepted $2 billion in taxpayer money. Instead of funding core services, these districts act as a shadow budget benefiting private developers, or as a massive slush fund to plug Chicago’s budget gaps. Where there is a TIF, the overall levy doesn't change, meaning your taxes go up just to subsidize it. It is a spectacular scam. illinoispolicy.org/cook-county-ti…

I'm Iranian. My family in Iran and I fully support this war and endorse President Trump's resolve to obliterate the murderous Islamic Republic regime. Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING is scarier for Iranians than the regime surviving—not bombs and not the destruction of any infrastructure. We know that this war is not against the people of Iran but against one of the most dangerous terrorist regimes ever existed. Iranians have made up their minds: we want this regime gone and Prince Reza Pahlavi to return to his country to help us make Iran great again. #DigitalBlackOutIran #KingRezaPahlaviForIran #KingRezaPahlavi

Claim: “Under that agreement, Iran surrendered 97% of its enriched uranium, retaining a small amount of low-enriched material;” Facts: Under the agreement, international policy opposing enrichment was reversed; a permanent enrichment capacity was enshrined; and a pathway to advanced centrifuge production and all-the-way-to-weapons-grade uranium enrichment was legalized. Claim: “D/Ced 13k advanced centerfuges and a heavy-water reactor;” Facts: JCPOA legalized advanced centrifuge R&D. Also, while Arak was disabled, an official later revealed the regime hid spare tubes to later restore it. Claim: “and submitted to intrusive inspections.” Facts: No access to military sites or SPND sites. No verification of section T to prevent weaponization activity. Claim: “They're program was enfeebled and frozen.” Facts: Their program was on a legalized pathway to industrial size at any level of enrichment with the most advanced centrifuges. Claim: “When Trump ripped up the agreement, they resumed enriching uranium to much closer to weapon grade.” Facts: The regime did not exceed JCPOA limits until more than a year after Trump exited and at that point enrichment was kept to low levels. Higher levels of enrichment did not begin until the Biden transition and then presidency in 2021. Claim: “Maybe a little forethought would have been a good thing???” Facts: Maybe the JCPOA was a disaster???
David Axelrod@davidaxelrod

The @POTUS says he ripped up the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement "without much thought." That much is true. Under that agreement, Iran surrendered 97% of its enriched uranium, retaining a small amount of low-enriched material; D/Ced 13k advanced centerfuges and a heavy-water reactor; and submitted to intrusive inspections. They're program was enfeebled and frozen. When Trump ripped up the agreement, they resumed enriching uranium to much closer to weapon grade. Maybe a little forethought would have been a good thing???
