It's unbelievable that @OhioMedicaid came before the Ohio Controlling Board today to ask for nearly $1 million to purchase a new product from an existing contractor "to enhance fraud, waste, and abuse prevention activities to utilize the actuary’s anomaly detection platform to analyze Ohio Medicaid data."
Enhance these activities?! How about *performing* them to begin with. I lodged the sole objection to approve the agenda item, which unfortunately was accepted by the Board.
