@RinoTheBouncer Yes, nothing that has happened recently has changed the fact that when a PS6 launches. I will be getting one. It’s where I game, it’s where my library of my favorite games lives.🤷🏽‍♂️ I also game on other platforms, I’ll probably get some of those as well.

@NotiPlay_ I mean yeah, those things don’t just pop up out of the aether. They must be developed beforehand. Where I work we are currently working on prototypes intended to release in 2029. Of course they are working on and investing in the PS6 🤦🏽‍♂️

@sotergc I mean yeah, PS5 has been out a while and has sold over 90 million units to date. The switch 2 is newer and many people haven’t upgraded to it yet. Of course it’s outselling. 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️ I have both, bought the NS2 this year, bought the PS5 at launch. I game on both.

It’s kind of funny they’re trying to compete with steam by making their games digital only lol like why would I buy PS5 if I ain’t getting physical disc? I can easily play on pc with steam. The whole point to get PS5 games to own the physical discs and play them. I just can’t wait to see how their sales goes if people or consumers actually boycotts

People are doing a PlayStation blackout in Aug to protest disc removal. That's cool but I personally won't be buying another PS product again. I don't have faith in them course correcting. But we have the option of principle, and I won't finance the gutting of my favourite hobby.

@dloucks222 I will meet you in the middle and say they aren’t stupid, they are simply ignorant. And probably haven’t even played the game, they just listened to the rhetoric around it and didn’t play it. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I thought it was pretty great.

@younghavok Depends. There are more PS5’s already out in the wild. Most who want one, already have one and don’t need another. The switch 2 is still relatively new and people are still upgrading to it. Many people wouldn’t need to buy a new PS5 to play this game. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Sony and PlayStation confirms they are moving forward with digital only future and won’t reverse the decision no matter what There is no amount of fan backlash, losing fans, or whatever that can make them change this decision. It’s truly over for physical games

@GendoWasRight Do you mean the micro as express port isn’t enough? You know you can swap in cards if you power the system down right? It has a memory expansion port built in. All you need is another micro as express card. 🤣🤦🏽‍♂️

The Switch 2 really needs USB backup support like you get on PS5. I should have the option to store my games on a USB drive instead of having to redownload them every time.

@Eze2k25 The PS5 has been out for a while, sold roughly 93.7 million units. The switch 2 is newer and has sold roughly 19.86 million units to date . They are selling more because people don’t need another PS5. But they may upgrade to a NS2. I have both. Bought the PS5 years ago. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The Switch 2 is selling 5.6 consoles to every 1 PS5 sold. I don’t care who you are, that’s demolishing the competition.
