Awesome. So cool. Thanks for sharing. Now get baptized. Begin to study using Biblegateway, Blue Letter Bible, or other app. Try The Message as an intro Bible version as it’s an easy read. Start with the 4 Gospels, Acts, and Paul’s Letters. Along the way compare to other translations like NIV, NASB, ESV or whatever suits. Watch God continue his amazing grace in you.

If someone told me what I am about to tell you a year ago, I would have called it a fairytale. I went to church this morning with my friend Joe. He had invited me months ago and I called him last night to ask if Holly and I could attend with him today. He said he would be honored. He said Bible Study was at 10 and service was at 11 and he sent me the address to Victory Baptist Church in Bristol. When we arrived this morning, we were greeted by so many people and everyone was asking if we were "Joe's friends". We felt welcomed immediately. They led us to the Bible Study group and the leader said, "We have studying Psalms". The same Psalms that led me through the doors of a church for the first time in nearly 3 decades, a week ago. I felt that was a sign I was in the right place. Through the rest of the service, I felt like it was time. Time to commit. Time to turn my life over to him. But when the alter call came, I couldn't go. I just didn't feel worthy, as I have wrestled with for forever. All those people. So pretty and neat. So I didn't go. After the service, Joe asked me to speak with his Pastor, who wanted to thank us for coming, and I said I was happy to meet him. And then it happened. He thanked me for coming and he asked if I knew that Jesus died for my sins. I responded that I have been working on understanding, and then he shook me to my core. You see, I know 1 verse from the Bible by heart. Only 1. I remembered it from my youth because of a song. Romans 10:9 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." That's it. That's the 1 verse I know. I know what others say, but I can't quote it. I don't know where it is at. But I know that one. His next words to me? He asked me if I knew Romans and he recited that verse. The only verse I knew by heart, word for word. That was my proof. That was my evidence that today was the day. I stopped him mid verse as I broke down in tears and asked him to pray with me and he led me to the Alter with Joe and several others that I'm not yet sure of their name. Today, I confessed with my mouth, the Lord Jesus.... and I came up a saved man. Today was the day. Today. It happened. I have no idea what to do next or where it goes.... but today, I can say that thank God, I am not where I once was..... but I am NOW where I am. To everyone that has worked on me for years now. Thank you. Thank you for not giving up even when my words were hateful. I didn't know what I didn't know. I still don't, honestly.... But I am not that man today. Today was a great day.

"Evolution quietly built a repair system out of the mother-child bond itself." That's rather like saying that the F-47 quietly built itself without any guidance from Boeing. We cannot look at the creation without seeing the creator...but we often try. "For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse." St Paul's letter to the Romans 1:19

The Curious Tales
The Curious Tales@thecurioustales·
The science of fetal microchimerism should have broken the internet by now. It hasn’t. When I read about a research I was so curious to know what’s actually happening. Fetal cells — carrying the child’s own DNA — cross into the mother’s bloodstream during pregnancy and never fully leave. They embed into her organs. Her heart muscle. Her brain tissue. Researchers have found a child’s living cells inside mothers in their 90s, from pregnancies six decades old. The child left the womb. The cells didn’t. And they don’t just sit there. They migrate toward damage. Women with heart injuries show fetal cells concentrated at the wound site. Women with thyroid disease show their children’s cells inside the affected tissue. The body that built the child gets tended to, in return, by the child’s own cells. Nobody designed this consciously. Evolution quietly built a repair system out of the mother-child bond itself. The brain side of this is equally staggering. Pregnancy triggers gray matter reorganization — a structural rewiring that sharpens threat detection, deepens empathy, fundamentally alters how a mother processes the world. These changes persist for years after birth. Possibly permanently. A mother’s nervous system doesn’t return to its factory settings. It was updated by the experience of carrying another person, and that update sticks. The part worth sitting with longest — women who experienced pregnancy loss carry fetal cells too. The cellular merging doesn’t require a birth. It doesn’t require years of raising someone. Those cells remain regardless of what happened after. A mother grieving a child she never brought home is grieving someone biologically still present inside her. The world consistently underestimates that grief. The science says we have no business doing that. Mothers always knew the connection didn’t end at birth. Turns out it doesn’t end at the cellular level either.

Iran is often reduced to headlines about politics. But behind them stands one of the oldest continuous civilizations on Earth, where architecture, poetry, and faith shaped beauty for over 2,500 years. Here’s a journey through Iran’s architectural splendor. 🧵

I post a lot about the beauty of space, but its important to remember that we already live on the most beautiful planet, filled with incredible wonders, unique creatures, and a species sentient enough to appreciate it all. Earth is a magical place, and we're lucky to have it.

Californians are trapped in a corrupt failed system. No voter ID. Fraudulently written voter guides. Lazy oblivious electorate. Inept corrupt politicians. Badly managed governance run into debt and disarray. Largely leftist lying media. The audacity to tax private real estate transfer the cost of a luxury car or ~ 6 months of assisted living reflects all that.

The median home price in major California cities like San Diego and Los Angeles has risen to roughly $1 million dollars Democrats are responding by increasing a tax fee when you sell your home from $2,000 all the way to $60,000 The county will collect $60k on every home sold El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells “It's called a property transfer tax. And what it would do would take the transfer taxes that you have when you sell a house right now, which would be about $2,000, which I still think doesn't make any sense and it's not justified. However, they're talking about raising that to about $60,000. So if you sold a million dollar house in California or San Diego, which is not ludicrous anymore, because that's kind of what houses cost these days, it would cost you $60,000 that you have to pay directly to the county to sell your house. And it's really a bad thing, especially for seniors, you know, people who've bought their house when it was $25-$30,000, lived in it all their lives, and now they're transferring down to a smaller residence or even going to assisted living — they're going to have to pay an extra $60,000”

Tony, never heard of you until today and just followed you. This 5-point creed is admirable but for your organization it is hard to swallow and more than a dacade overdue. See BS has been instrumental in the complete demise of journalism. Talking heads have lied to our faces, concealed critical information, ignored objective reality, sabotaged those they disdain, elevated defended and promoted the corrupt and unworthy, and poured leftist globalist propaganda down the Sheeple’s throats, ensuring it was irrevocably guzzled and metabolized to the point of their total intoxication and delusion. It will take a rehab program of epic proportions, deep soul searching, & constant 12-step sober vigilance from now on and for a very long time before any objective observer will begin to trust your organization again. To be fair, it took courage to move in this way and to lay out these principles. So: For the love of America, the rest of the planet, and all that is true and good - let’s hope your team succeeds in acknowledging past deceit, restoring and maintaining integrity, relentlessly pursuing truth, and practicing the art and science of real investigative journalism above and to the exclusion of all else.

Thanks, Collin. Happy New Year—and thanks for all the great X content over the years. I haven’t touched 3-letter news outlets since ~2016, don’t watch TV news, and deleted their apps long ago. That’s why I’d never even heard of this guy. His apparent authenticity is striking. He says “Hold me to it.” Fair enough… we’ll see how that works out for him. I’ll follow what he actually does through X, not by watching him or any legacy media. I prefer not wasting time sifting through their garbage for scraps of truth. Traditional MSM journalism died years ago. Many didn’t notice, too busy drinking the Kool-Aid lies while real stories were ignored and suppressed. Perhaps with X-ing indy journalists like @nickshirleyy, truth may finally resonate at a volume and frequency that “legacy” media can no longer dismiss.

NEW: Days after Nick Shirley’s viral video on Minnesota fraud, CBS News’ Tony Dokoupil declares that he is going to start reporting “for you” because no one trusts legacy media anymore. “So here's my promise to you today, and every time you see me in this chair…” “You come first, not advertisers, not politicians, not corporate interests and yes, that does include the corporate owners of CBS.” “I report for you, which means I tell you what I know, when I know it, and how I know it…”

Pardon the interruption, but I came across this string and decided to weigh in with biblical truth: The ruling Jewish leaders influenced Roman power to crucify Jesus specifically because he equated himself to God. He rose again precisely because he was and is God. Try reading the gospel of John. Chapter 10 alone is enough. Or John 19:21. Simple read of the New Testament Bible reveal Jesus’ claim of divinity is clear and unequivocal. Read Act and 1st John for eyewitness accounts. Peace be upon you.

First Jesus never claim divinity neither Jesus said in entire Bible that I am God or verily worship me. Now you turning away from the truth and agreeing with falsehood is completely against the teachings of Jesus (peace be upon him). In any case, my advice is that you study the Bible on your own and do not rely on a pastor. Around the world, pastors run their own business, and this happens in every religion. The so-called guardians of religion will stop you from studying your own scripture and will not tell you the real truth.

In the quiet majesty of space, the Sun is our eternal driver, a radiant sphere of nuclear fire hurling light and life across the void. Huddled around it like silent travelers, the planets sweep in graceful orbits: Mercury scorched, Venus veiled, Earth alive with oceans and breath, Mars rusting in memory, the great gas giants crowned in storm and ring, and distant ice worlds whispering in blue twilight. We ride with them, brief passengers made of stardust, hearts beating with the Sun’s own energy, eyes lifted to behold the driver’s golden face. We are starlight gazing back at its source, a fleeting song the universe sings to itself.
