Although ventricular enlargement is a key feature of idiopathic normal-pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH), this finding alone is nonspecific, occurring in many conditions, including brain volume loss with aging. Decreased FDG avidity might reflect metabolic changes rather than true tumor response. Interpretation should be cautious; correlation with clinical/imaging context is required

Seeing random reports in here of micro-dosing GLP1 (semaglutide) as a “doing my own research” anti cancer therapy (plus the panacea Ivermectin +/- Febendazole). One showed PET with no FDG avidity as proof of response. Question: Could it be just Ozempic affecting FDG distribution?

What’s something you were taught & never forgot? I’ll start. On ICU rounds one day a family was screaming after their loved one died. My attending looked at us all & said, “Understand that for you it’s Thursday. For them it’s the worst day of their life.” I never forgot that.
