Case in point: when I was first diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis doctors brushed off the swelling and pain because CRP and ESR were normal. Problem: AS is seronegative. Two years and 2 rheumatologists later MRI showed the SI joined inflammation. If somethings not right you have to keep doing the right things and be proactive. How much better would my health be starting treatment 2 years sooner? How much worse would it be if I hadn’t kept questioning my symptoms?
