@Mr_Zuka @OurFavOnlineDoc Americans aren't the global standard, and a child's brain development is influenced by many factors and not just screen time.

@OurFavOnlineDoc Americans aren't the SI unit of the world; they consume chemicals on a daily basis, which causes more harm than just phones, which is why 10% of them have autism or cancer. We’re too far behind in Africa to leave my childrens academic development to only school teachers.

If you have a child under the age of 5years old, pls give them no phones, no tabs, no iPads, no laptops. Basically no screens. Scientists have found a relationship between screen exposure and brain damage in kids under 5years old. Pls share this video🙏🏿

@EdoPoliceNG @EnoIkoedem As earlier stated, we appreciate your efforts, but it’s not enough. Until the kidnappers are arrested and brought to justice, the risk of repeat attacks remains.

PRESS RELEASE RANSOM PLOT FOILED: EDO POLICE RESCUE ABDUCTED SEPTUAGENARIAN The Edo State Police Command, under the leadership of the Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc, has successfully rescued a kidnapped victim following a swift and coordinated search and rescue operation. On 21st April, 2026, at about 0710hrs, the Command received a report from the wife of one Pa Jonah Owobu of Uwalo Oke, Uromi, that her husband aged 70years had failed to return from his farm on 20th April, 2026. She further reported that at about 2130hrs on the same day, unknown individuals contacted the family demanding a ransom of Thirty Million Naira (₦30,000,000) for his release. Upon receipt of the report, the Amedokhian Divisional Police Officer, promptly mobilized a joint team comprising Police operatives, military personnel, local hunters, and members of the Edo State Security Corps for an immediate search and rescue operation within the forest. During the operation, the victim’s abandoned motorcycle and personal belongings were recovered along a forest route, which guided operatives deeper into the area. The team eventually located the hideout where the victim was being held. On sighting the advancing operatives, the suspected kidnappers fled into the bush, abandoning the victim. The victim was successfully rescued unhurt and has since been reunited with his family. Meanwhile, intensive bush combing and a manhunt for the fleeing suspects are ongoing, with a view to apprehending them and bringing them to justice. The Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc, reiterates the Command’s unwavering commitment to combating kidnapping and all forms of criminality in the State. He further assures residents of sustained security operations and urges members of the public to continue to provide timely and credible information to the Police. ASP ENO IKOEDEM, POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER, EDO STATE COMMAND. 25th April, 2026.

@EdoPoliceNG @EnoIkoedem While we appreciate the efforts of the Nigerian Police, it’s concerning that victims are often rescued but abductors escape. Rescue alone isn’t enough, perpetrators must be captured and prosecuted to break the cycle and restore public confidence.

PRESS RELEASE UPDATE ON GUO BUS KIDNAPPING INCIDENT ALONG BENIN-LAGOS EXPRESSWAY ......EDO COMMAND RESCUES NINE (9) KIDNAP VICTIMS FROM TWO (2) SEPARATE INCIDENTS @EdoPoliceNG is pleased to inform the general public that all victims abducted during the recent kidnapping incident along the Benin–Lagos Expressway have been successfully rescued alive. This breakthrough was achieved following the immediate and massive deployment of tactical teams, intelligence assets, aerial surveillance, and other operational resources by the Commissioner of Police CP Monday Agbonika, fdc, Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, to the affected corridor. The sustained rescue efforts, coordinated bush-combing operations, and strategic domination of the area exerted pressure on the kidnappers ultimately leading to the safe rescue of all victims. They have since received medical evaluation and treatment, and reunited with their families. In a related development, the Command also successfully rescued four (4) other kidnapped victims who were abducted earlier this month and held in captivity within the Imiegba forest in Agenebode. They have likewise received medical attention and are safe, making a total of Nine (9) kidnapped victims rescued. The Edo State Police Command wishes to reassure the public, particularly commuters and residents, that security deployment along the Benin–Lagos Expressway and adjoining communities has been significantly strengthened. Tactical, intelligence, and operational assets have been fully activated across the axis, and these deployments will remain in place until the route is completely safe and secure for all road users. The Command is also intensifying efforts to apprehend the perpetrators of these heinous crimes. We are confident that all those involved will be tracked down and brought to justice in the shortest possible time. ASP ENO IKOEDEM, POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER, EDO STATE COMMAND. 24th April, 2026.

They took our people on Benin Ore road. Now they’re calling parents to sell their children back for ₦50 million. This is not governance, this is abandonment. Kidnappers now run customer service in Nigeria: hello sir/ma, your child is with us, 50m naira only

Reintegration of Repentant Terrorists Is Fraud - Opara We will be approaching the Federal High Court to stop this insanity of reintegrating repentant terrorists into communities. Coercion of individuals to carry out crimes is not a valid defence. There are no communities for these repentant terrorists to return to, as they were all decimated by the terrorists in the first instance. Maxwell Opara, Lawyer

@Speedy504272960 @TheAjakeManger You sound as if taxes are new in Nigeria. Paying taxes does not eliminate corruption. Many Nigerians pay taxes & are still forced 2 pay bribes. Bribery often arises from institutional breakdown, not citizen preference. U go pay corruption level on top the new tax.

@Ericose_Content @TheAjakeManger If you pay taxes, you will not agree to pay bribes to get things done. You will insist to be served as at when due. You most likely pay bribes to get undue advantage or bypass regulations.

If they increase electricity tariff, you will have 24 hour power supply. 2 years later. Nothing. If they remove petrol subsidy, they will provide CNG alternative. CNG is dead today. APC is a party of crooks.

I pay 42% tax every month in Germany but if: 1. I loose my job, the govt pays me 60% of my salary and help to find a new one 2. I have access to 3 years leave if I have a baby with a percentage of my salary and my job will wait for me until I resume. 3. Education is free in govt schools from primary to PhD 4. For every child I have, they get paid €250 monthly until they turn 18 5. I can buy a monthly ticket of €56 monthly and can travel all around the country via train (not high speed) and buses. 6. At any emergency, once you call the ambulance, it arrives within 20 minutes 7. Deffribilators and SOS access are available at every train station and high ways. 8. If I get stock in a country, I call the govt and they come to my support. Let me stop here. You that will pay about 30% tax in Nigeria that was copied 90% from the UK tax law, what will you get?

KPMG is currently working to shield large corporations from paying taxes. What many people fail to realize is that these firms are not actually criticizing tax laws for the benefit of the average Nigerian. In the push to have “community” explicitly defined, they're neglecting the plight of the small man. When it comes to taxing foreign investments and profits, they are primarily advocating for their major backers, the big players. If their requests are granted, it could lead to significant loopholes that would allow wealthy individuals to transfer their key investments to foreign entities to evade paying taxes in Nigeria. It's clear that these firms are not concerned about the average Nigerian but rather protect the interests of the top 1% who are trying to manipulate the system to avoid their fair share of taxes on the profits they generate.

@USinNigeria So while Nigerians are battling insecurity, inflation, and daily survival, the priority is for us to make skits about American products? Is this a partnership or a performance? Because it’s starting to feel like we’re the joke.
