As an early supporter of the EFF, I’m shocked at the direction the organization has taken. It’s gone from protecting all from government excesses, to partisanship. You don’t have rights if they only apply to a few.

Oh @GIFFORDS_org, let’s stop playing word games. The term “gun violence” deliberately shifts blame from criminals to an inanimate object, pushing a narrative instead of addressing reality. Violence is committed by people. Period. Calling it “gun violence” is no different than saying “knife violence” or “car violence," except you only hear one of those constantly, and that’s not by accident. This ridiculous stupid term paints firearms as the root problem, while ignoring the real drivers: crime, broken communities, mental health, and repeat offenders. It also lumps everything together: suicide, self-defense, etc. into one misleading category designed to push an agenda, not solve a problem. If organizations like Giffords and the Office of Gun Violence Prevention (which Colorado pays over 3 million dollars to every year, and who I criticize in this video) is serious about reducing violence, they would stop blaming objects.

Your classic First Amendment violation. It’s being banned for its message, not because of any actual danger.

@KyleClark He’s been a terrible AG. He seems to act on what he wants and not what the law is. This case wasn’t a close call. It was viewpoint discrimination — allowing speech on one side and forbidding it in the otherwise. Case law is very clear that this isn’t allowed.

The argument that there should have been two controllers doesn’t hold up. The tower duties were virtually non-existent immediately leading up to the crash. A separate ground controller would have had the same workload at that moment.

The issue is it doesn’t seem to weight how news sources favor reporting what their audience wishes to read. There is a lot of useful information those sources don’t report& Grok misses

Hot take as a woman who actually has really wholesome female friendships: male friendships are kind of… insane. two men can hang out for 4 hours, say maybe 17 total words, share a bag of chips, send each other one stupid reel, and go home like “great catching up bro.” no emotional recap. no post-hangout analysis. no “did I say something weird when I laughed?” they can go 6 months without talking, then meet again and immediately pick up the exact same joke from 2017. women meanwhile will do a full psychological autopsy on a slightly delayed reply.
