Republicans are trying to make fraud a theme for the mid term elections. Meanwhile it looks as if one of the greatest Medicare fraudsters in American history is in their own ranks. See Senator Rick Scott of Florida… Good Sunday Rory

BREAKING: Trump FREEZES over $1 billion in Medicaid funds, targeting sick and elderly people to punish blue states for daring to oppose him. This is pure evil and it gets so much worse... "Medicaid exists to serve vulnerable Americans — not to bankroll unsupported claims," said HHS Secretary RFK Jr. "Under President Trump's leadership, we are restoring accountability across our public programs and protecting taxpayer dollars." RFK has a net worth of between $15 million and $20 million. He has never known what it's like to struggle to pay for healthcare and yet he wields his power against working class people with casual cruelty. According to federal health officials, the funds will be cut off from California and Minnesota until the states investigate a series of deranged conspiracy theories and false claims of fraud that have been pouring out of the White House. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will "defer" $867.5 million in Medicaid payments to California and $199 million to Minnesota. The announcement follows a concerted campaign by lunatic right-wing media personalities to gin up paranoia about in-home care and other crucial health services. The CMS is absurdly claiming that California's need for in-home care programs is greater than that in many other states, and thus must be the result of criminality and corruption. Never mind the fact that California is the most populous state in the Union and the 4th largest economy in the entire world. Of course its needs outstrip those of other places! "CMS is done trying to chase down stolen and misused funds after they've already left the building," said snake oil salesman Mehmet Oz, the CMS Administrator. Oz has a net worth between $100 million and $315 million. But according to him, the elderly and terminally ill have had it too good for too long. By cutting funding for their care, he's going to exponentially increase their suffering. This is class war, plain and simple. Conservatives will fastidiously pinch pennies when it comes to saving American lives but when it's time to give more tax cuts to the billionaires or start another pointless foreign war, they unleash the money hose. In the make believe world of MAGA, it doesn't matter that there's no evidence for the Republican fraud allegations. The allegations alone are enough for these crooks to justify changes to federal policy. Of course, Trump doesn't care about the pain this policy will cause because he despises blue states. If you didn't vote for him, he doesn't feel any responsibility to protect your rights, wellbeing, or even your life. You are dirt to him. And let's just zoom out here for a moment. Does anyone genuinely believe that Trump cares about fraud? This is the most corrupt President in American history. He's lining his already-swollen pockets and those of his family with siphoned tax dollars, crypto scams, sweetheart deals, and insider trading schemes. The real fraud is happening in the White House. Please like and share if you will never vote for a Republican as long as you live!

Another Medicare Advantage Program Bites the Dust. MEDICARE PATIENTS: PLEASE REPOST THIS MESSAGE SO OTHER MEDICARE PATIENTS SEE IT. Your community doctor is at risk. Independent private practice physicians are disappearing, and patients are waiting months to get the care they need. I have made the difficult decision to stop participating with Aetna Medicare Advantage after repeated reimbursement problems and administrative burdens made it impossible to continue. This is why we must protect access to your community doctors and make sure a private practicing physician has a seat at the table when Medicare policy is made. To protect access to your doctors and improve patient access to care, you must act today. Call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) and email HAC@cms.hhs.gov. Tell CMS to protect independent private practice medicine and make sure a private practicing physician has a seat at the table. After you call or email, reply “DONE” so Medicare patients know their voices are being heard. @mcuban @CMSGov @AARP

Representative @AdelitaForAZ has been a fighter against the corruption of our politics since day one. Together, we’re working towards the same goals: to abolish ICE, pass Medicare for All, and hold special interests accountable. I’m so thankful for her support.

Washington is full of Big Pharma and Big Insurance lobbyists dedicated to blocking Medicare For All. Maine is full of organized, working class people who understand that healthcare is a human right. I know whose side I’m on.

AOC: "Republicans want to overturn everything that Black political power has made possible. When Black Americans had their right to vote protected, we established healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, the Clean Air Act. They know that when Black Americans exercise political power, they deliver progress for every American. They believe that they could weaken the political power of the Black community. Instead they awakened a movement."

The estimated $200 billion we’ve spent on the war in Iran could have paid for everyone on Medicare to get free dental, vision, and hearing care for six years. It could have paid for a check to every American household for $1,500. It could do school lunches for all kids for 18 years. We are back in a full scale war, and it’s important we understand its consequences.

50 million more Americans have coverage thanks to the Affordable Care Act. Seniors are saving on their prescriptions because we strengthened Medicare. There's more to do. In the wealthiest nation in the world, no one should go without healthcare. It's time for Medicare for All.
