It's amazing how obtuse people can be. These people have a choice to believe one of two things to explain why Nolan has some people of color in the movie: 1. That in Nolan's Odyssey world, immigrants have come to a majority-white Greece, or 2. In Nolan's Odyssey world, black people or Asians are considered ethnically Greek (which requires the assumption that two white people can have a black baby or an Asian baby). The first choice is the more reasonable interpretation and less offensive. The second choice is a genetic impossibility and more offensive to them. So what do they choose to believe Nolan really meant? The 100% impossible, more offensive interpretation, of course! That's because all they care about is being as offended as possible. They are blinded by their own prejudices.
