New record🥇 The Artemis II astronauts are now farther from Earth than humans have ever been! At 1:57 p.m. EDT, they broke the record set by Apollo 13 in 1970. Their journey around the far side of the Moon today will take them a maximum distance of 252,752 miles from Earth.

.@SECWAR “I witnessed American ingenuity. I met the young Army officer who figured out how to neutralize maneuvering enemy missiles, saving countless lives. His commander confirmed that whoops and cheers erupted in the Tactical Cooperation Center when his new approach was first successful. I met the Air Force intel analyst who refines target packages faster than the enemy can adapt. I actually gave him my card and told him to keep us posted on the GROUND TRUTH. I did the same with his boss—a colonel with a heart the size of Texas and a beautiful deployment mustache to match.”

If you want to fight "for" tyranny, you are most assuredly in the wrong damn country. What a sad existence. You're in the freest place on earth, yet so willfully blind to the privileged liberties you have. You neither appreciate it, nor all that was traversed to gain it. You are not American. You are lost.

That was well said. "A positive role" is a good hope, which I agree with but realistically that will always come down perspective. In that same regard, how the people see their culture and how it then interacts with the world, as well as how the world sees the culture and how much they want to interact with it. "Culture", like all other words that define all things, has been enriched or changed in meaning and value. Tradition, customs, and even "history", can mean or be worth as much to me as I want them too, or that which they are describing/defining. Language itself is an ever shifting and changing cultural spectrum. You can have the same language sound completely different in five different regions of a country, with different dialects, accents, slang, or phrasing. Metaphors, songs, idioms and even greetings. Traditions, customs, and culture in a language, that which makes the language "more", and that which adapts it, as well as with it, to the ever-changing lull of time. So long as there are words, in any form or expression, then culture is never really lost, it's merely more colorful and on a journey with every word spoken or woven in time. Dance, cook, paint, build, greet, create, speak, sing, think, appreciate, fix, fight for, or even love. What the words mean to someone, how they speak them, and what they are defining/describing. Culture is perception. If you never want to lose sight of it, don't look away. If you want to enrich yourself and what your culture means to you, look where you wish and embrace what you find, or move along, bringing what you don't want to leave behind.

This is one of those, "hold my beer" moments, "again". Russia: 1,160 yrs old. Ukraine: 35 yrs old. And yet, "we" are the ones everyone comes to, depends on, wants as an ally, looks to for global stability, and FEARS! Can't keep playing the toddler card against titans! 🇺🇸🪖🦅🍻

JUST IN: 🇷🇺🇺🇸 Russia's Dmitry Medvedev says "the peacekeeper is at it again." "The US is just 249 years old. The Persian Empire was founded over 2500 years ago. Let's see what happens…"
