Some CS2 traders are concerned after finding out CSFloat's TOS does not guarantee account balances & that it should not be treated as cash.

@Rambofight @pricempire Wdym? For me its just "normal" idk why ppl are suprised its same with tradeit balance, csmoney balance? This sites can go anytime etc. Chances are very very low but can happen ofc, and I as a user I am aware of this risk and I am accepting it.

@rumscsgo I mean, yes it would work, but then this update would be pointless because people would "lose" these skins anyway and not be able to do anything with them

@Eton_64 Not quite, the account gets a 30d trade ban, the items itself would be tradable again in 7 days. If these items now were permanently untradeable, that would completely remove any way of abusing the system. And it would basically lower the existing supply, another huge plus.

Observing the recent shift in sentiment regarding trade reversals got me thinking. The general concept of reversals is really good, but it's just too abusable in its current state. What if Valve made reversed items untradeable / unmarketable for the initiating party?

@Eton_64 @afusdev You can’t switch steam accounts on csfloat You can’t swituc steam accounts while you have any pending orders on Youpin for example

I reached out to CSFloat regarding the possibility of unlocking funds instantly and they confirmed that the current system is not permanent and that it will change ‼️ It will take a while but we should see a smoother payment system at some point 🤩

@afusdev Theyll probably allow spending balance on site but no insta withdrawals ofc This is safe and I dont see a reason why all p2p sites havent implemented this yet tbh

GamerPay update: We’ve started testing new trade flow, where we will incorporate a new state where the trade will stay for 7 days. Sales proceeds to regular users’ wallets can then take place on the 8th day. Hardest part in this is honestly to create good communication to casuals so they understand this wait time - and of course make sure things are properly in sync. Pretty confident that we will soon be up and running again. And then I just look forward seeing how we can offer new ways to empower traders. A door might close but five fucking windows then opens! 😎
