@Psybear_tv Has been my problem all season, TWW had it's problems but I miss my heart skipping beats tanking the crazy priory/brewery pulls. Even most of the bosses this season just don't really do anything, with enough key levels it gets "hard" but I really miss the complexity.

I've been playing less WoW lately (started up a new business) but I'm doing +20 keys. I keep waiting for the keys to give me the same rush that I'd get in SL, DF, TWW, but it just isn't coming. I'm still figuring out if this is a good thing or not. They all just seem too easy

Did something happen on the PT yesterday that justifies nuking the VODs? Am from EU so was catching up on day 2, on youtube, and it disappeared mid watch. Same thing on Twitch, no day 2 VOD. @fireshoes sorry to tag you just for reach / info if you have :).

Went 7-1 with what might be the best deck I've drafted in any format ever (the one loss is an absolute punt by me). Felt like a turbo sealed pool with 9 bomb rares somehow. Back to grinding standard now after an amazing PT. @fireshoes thanks in advance :)

Got my first trophy on the return of the Cube on Arena, glad I managed to do it on the hardest archetype to draft/play and with such a mid deck but that's talent for you (obvious scarsm, just in case). @fireshoes for value.

@jdotb Also huge incentive for any emergent power to develop nuclear weapons ASAP with no regard for no proliferation treaties. Iran got cucked on that and we see how it turned out for them. Also good luck telling China it can't just invade Taiwan now.

@masoneclark It feels like the curve is turned on it's head. I feel stress not answering every one/two drops that also either replace themselves or 2-for-1 me, but resolving a 4 CMC spell feels like I'm putting myself at a disadvantage lol.

All the best cards are 1-2 CMC. I would just try to make the game more about 4 mana cards. The last few cards that have been truly warping have all been 2 CMC & below minus omniscience combo, vivi makes so much mana that it’s basically free.

Not to say every game has to be a grindfest, but I was thinking about what this metagame is like and essentially your deck has to offer a game-winning state or synergy by turn 4, or have some way to address a variety of strategies that ends the game immediately.

@slime_machine Felt particularly jarring during emotional scenes as characters kind of just stare at each other with big googly eyes. Kind of felt like everyone was on botox and it does take away from the storytelling for sure. Every face looks so similar too it doesn't help.

V2 of Bant Airbending is here! Putting up a record of 19-2 and taking me up to #5 mythic this version is even faster and stronger than the previous. The ability to combo turn 3 is much higher with the mana from badgermole making some truly absurd draws. (Decklist in alt text)

Azula plays really well with Songcrafter Mage, especially since she copies any spell cast while she's attacking. This deck was sick and good, gonna continue working it. I'll fit some wan shi tongs tomorrow! @fireshoes

@SnzNSpc @kaloskatoa @envinyon I have not looked optimal builds but during my playthrough it felt obvious to try having a max damage/speed team and just brute-force parry on that one mandatory hard pattern of every boss. Really took a lot of wind away from the picto and skill system.

@kaloskatoa @Etril @envinyon it feels ironically low risk high reward because enemies do so much damage. If you miss a parry it's no worse than just sitting there and taking the attack. If it had something like a damage multiplier with base damage tuned down so it makes you really think about trying it

favorite funny bit of E33 discourse is when you criticize the parry mechanic for being way too generous and dominant and people immediately go to "you're bad at parrying" because they can't read

@kaloskatoa @envinyon I understand but the answer to every single boss mechanic is "just parry". If you parry everything there is no mechanic as far as I remember that justifies you doing anything else. Of course it's not easy but it reduces the game to rythm rather than being a neat addition.

@Etril @envinyon Then ur better than me, I had to change builds a lot on hard mode, mainly to get immunity to status effects, focus on free aim when a boss required a lot of that, or focus on defensive builds when I was dying too easily.
