Hilarious? No. Funny? No. Chucklesome? No. Mildly Amusing? No. Left Field? No. Interesting? No. Anything? Something.

@KieranMaguire With absolute confidence based on nothing, is it not possible any points penalty handed down now, that could relegate city, would then be subject to appeal which could then leave the team relegated in 18th in limbo for a summer?

Never seen a team so happy to get a 2-2 draw to go 15th in the premier league, you’d be forgiven for thinking they won the league last night

I met my husband at a rave in 1992. We still have a playlist we love listening to at the weekend. Today we were chatting about how Gen X was probably the luckiest generation. The 70s felt like the Wild West - hilarious telly, fashion and music, zero political correctness, and total freedom. I learned to ride my bike during that hot summer of ‘76. The 80s were our teenage years, the best music, films and an incredible club scene. The 90’s were absolute peak. The rave culture was something else entirely — you really did have to be there to understand how extraordinary it was. Britpop was incredible, bars and clubs were thriving everywhere, and it just felt like one long, brilliant party. Not like now. #RestoreBritain

@mrwtffacts It helps to be a stronger man I guess. How does a father of 4 kids not be strong enough to subdue another man?

In 2014, Texas, Ronald Lee Haskell disguised himself in a FedEx uniform and walked into his ex-wife's sister's home. Enraged by his divorce, he tied up his ex wife's sister, her husband & four kids (ages 4-13). He executed them all one by one. The couple’s fifth child, 15-year-old Cassidy Stay, was also shot in the head, but the bullet grazed her skull. She played dead in a pool of blood, too scared to even breathe. Ronald left to murder her grandparents next. Cassidy crawled to the phone with broken fingers while bleeding out. She calmly told 911: "He's heading to kill my grandparents right now!" Police halted Ronald on route. He was arrested and charged with 6 counts of capital murder. In 2019, he was sentenced to death.

LIV golf came to the scene at a time when the PGA was wildly vulnerable. All LIV had to do was keep the classic golf rules. 72 holes with a cut. Pants on the golf course. No loud music in the background and they would have given the PGA a serious run for their money. People were legitimately sick of the PGA taking the ESPN/left wing corporate route of sports organization. Whoever set up LIV golf rules is a person beyond brain dead. Completely unaware of what was at stake. The formatting was so stupid that it gave PGA all the time in the world to regroup and get its act together. Grateful that LIV forced the PGA to change. But what a dumb organization….

🚨👀⛳️ JUST IN — A “bombshell announcement” regarding the future of LIV Golf is reportedly imminent, multiple sources tell @acaseofthegolf1.

Yeah it's one of the things UK gets absolutely correct- weights and measures should be absolute. You'll go abroad and get served a couple of normal drinks and then random rocketfuel drinks that taste like shit cos they're 70% booze.
Gabriel@gbrl_dick

easiest way to explain this is that american drinks are kind of non-linear because every order you pay a little serf tax to their service class, and after about three drinks the bartender recognises you as a more reliable ally than the bar owner and mixes drinks at 2-3x strength

@tyabm @jared_shult ‘Cause I found some gold plates in my back garden last week and they said that Jesus came to England instead, it specifically mentioned that he was going to America but couldn’t be arsed when he found out how much further he had to travel.

Happy “Agony of Defeat Guy” Day if you’re observing it. 56 years ago today, March 21, 1970, a 22-year old Slovenian ski jumper Vinko Bogataj took the iconic spill at the World Ski Jumping Championships in West Germany. ABC stoped running Wide World of Sports in January 1998.

The exception to this rule is that it is socially acceptable to support who your dad supported irrespective of where you are actually from. A dad is entitled to hand that down like a family heirloom.
