Happy Feast of St. Luke! In Luke 4:1–2, we see Jesus “filled with the Holy Spirit” led into the desert, where He fasted for forty days. The desert was not a place of comfort but of preparation. There He learned obedience through trial, silence, and self-denial. Like Christ, we too are called into the desert to grow in freedom, freedom from the things that keep us from God and from who we’re made to be. What’s your desert right now? How might the Lord be calling you to prepare your heart for what’s next?

The next Exodus 90 begins January 5, 2026. This time will go quickly, so let’s put it to good use. Here’s one good way to prepare: Pray the Rosary today and offer it up for all men who you know would benefit from doing it this year.

On the cusp of the month of the Holy Rosary, Rosarians everywhere are getting ready for a month of processions, and vigils, and daily prayer in response to Pope Leo's special call. Following the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross yesterday, we also observe the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows today. Mary, more than anyone else, united her heart to that of her son when he gave himself for us on the Cross. Like her, together with St. Francis, we seek to conform our bodies, minds, and souls to Christ, allowing the power of the Cross to transform us in love.
