You get a different perspective when you have a female partner who’s trying to get into games. Multiplayer games are essentially out of the question if they haven’t been inundated with the ways of the internet. It’s a sad state of things and definitely needs to get better.

The amount of disgusting people on faceit is beyond me, just listened to a few of my fiance's teammates. Starting from boosted, to kitchen jokes, to whore and all they way to r*pe threats. These fucking sub-humans should get a seperate queue. Grinding solo faceit is fucking miserable as a female, can't believe so many people stoop as low as this and it's normalised.

@vytkfps It just strikes me as deeply misogynistic that women must be forced to include people born biologically male, and socialized as men for the bulk of many of their lives. Obviously there’s a difference in lived experience, and they shouldn’t be forced to include anyone.

Do you think allowing all of these women socialized as men playing against women will ever make this change? It’s disenfranchisement based on socialization in the very least. Because men play more games and grind harder, you’ll always have an overrepresentation.

@elcensorrevista Mechanically, I think I will end up liking it more than 4 due to the depth already present in the game. They just need to refine out a lot of the systems which will take time. Main issue for me is flavor, which is another time thing. Very confident it’ll overtake EU4 eventually.

It’s so precious how they use Dark Empire as a defence for The Sequel Trilogy like it’s a universally beloved, sacrosanct work of the EU 😭 The overwhelming majority of EU fans will straight up tell you it’s just as stupid as the ST, the only difference is one is a canon film.
