Griff Aldrich did a great job at Longwood elevating the standard in Farmville and making two NCAA Tournaments. Not sure what success exactly looks like at Pepperdine, but I definitely think this is a clear upgrade from the last coach.

Coaching news: Pepperdine has hired Virginia assistant Griff Aldrich, sources told @CBSSports. Aldrich was previously the coach at Longwood from 2018-2025 and took the Lancers to two NCAA Tournaments.
