Hitting F-35 during a combat mission over Iran is going to change many things for this stealth aircraft. IRST lock gave heat detection range of F-35. It showed at which speed & altitudes, the stealth coatings failed against infrared sensors. F-35's infrared fingerprint is a priceless record for Iran now. This would be transferred to friendly countries. It will help in developing sensors to identify & target it. After 19th March 2026, the pilots of F-35 will fly defensively. This will degrade their effectiveness. They are no more invisible.

Saudi FM: "I do not understand how Iran claim to defend Islamic causes while attacking Islamic countries." Also "Islamic" Saudi Arabia before war on Iran started, welcoming U.S. military build up while publicly claiming it won't allow attacks from its territory or airspace.

Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud slams Iran: I do not understand how they claim to defend Islamic causes while attacking Islamic countries. They are not attacking just one nation—Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Türkiye—all are Islamic countries, and all have been targeted. Even before this war, what was Iran’s contribution to the Islamic world? They supported the Houthi militia in Yemen. They supported militias in Iraq—and now they are attacking Iraqi territory. They have interfered in Lebanon through Hezbollah, not only hijacking political decision-making but also carrying out destabilizing actions across the region, including in Saudi Arabia. One of the clearest examples is Iran and Hezbollah’s role in Syria. So where is this so-called support for the Muslim world when such actions are taking place? How can they claim to support Islamic causes while backing regimes that oppress their own people, assassinating political figures in Lebanon, and empowering militias that hinder development in Iraq? I do not see any real support for Islamic causes. These are merely slogans used as cover. In reality, these tools are used to serve Iranian interests—not the principles they claim to defend.

There has been FLIR footage of a supposed F35 getting shot by an Iranian missile, and I think the footage is FAKE... likely a doctored FLIR video taken from a video game, and shared by the usual suspects of Iranian regime propagandists. Compare the difference between real, authenticated footage of fighter jets in the sky. Real FLIR is grainy, messy, noisy, and has artifacts. The one from the Iranian regime propoganda is too clean and blurry at the same time. They likely applied a blur/contrast filter to obfuscate the origin of the footage. It also lacks thermal heat blooming from the engines, and yes, even F-35s show a lot of heat bloom... instead, it's just a "gradient stick" coming from the back of the plane, with no halo effect. There are no missile contrails, and the exhaust plume from the missile is absent. The sky is too uniformly "grey" with no background noise or lens effects that create vignetting. With so many automated systems on the F35, there is a 0% chance that the F35 would have been caught unaware of an incoming missile. It would have taken evasive actions, used countermeasures, EW, etc. Instead, it keeps flying straight even after the explosion, which also looks fake.

@ExplainUrSelf47 @tanwer_m @65thakursahab I think you are convuluding the video and the fact that an F-35 was hit. I concur that it ia very likely the video going around is fake. It ia factual that a F35 was hit over Iran. The original post on this thread is not about the video itself.

@EthanLevins2 You are truly dumber than I thought you want me to believe an IRGC video, depicting a magic missile with no heat trail down an F 35 and the F 35 somehow miraculously made it back to a base but the Kuwaiti military was able to down 3F 15’s and they all had to eject

For the first time in HISTORY, an American F-35 jet has been hit. Iranian air defenses are hitting our best jets. Trump said today all of Iran’s defenses are destroyed.

Twitter IQ has to be below 65. People believe that the IRGC- known for its honesty- shit down an F35, and made it back to a base. But Kuwait was able to down 3 F15s and they all ejected. Seems reasonable.
