She is Timsy Jaipuria, a journalist and editor at CNBC TV18. Today, she ran a news report claiming that the Government was considering a tax/cess/surcharge on foreign travel. But the news turned out to be completely fake. Because the Prime Minister of the country himself came forward and fact-checked the report, calling it fake. PM Narendra Modi tweeted: “There is no question of putting such restrictions on foreign travel. We remain committed to improving ‘Ease of Doing Business’ and ‘Ease of Living’ for our people.” Just imagine the credibility of such journalists whose fake news is being fact-checked directly by the Prime Minister himself. Such journalists spread propaganda and fake news in the name of journalism. Strict action should be taken against people like Timsy Jaipuria, who are creating an atmosphere of panic and confusion in the country by spreading fake news at a time when the world is already facing war and an energy crisis.

As we all know, @KapilSibal is a habitual liar who often makes up things. I was a Minister of State in the second Modi government from 7 July 2021 to 11 June 2024, and I can say this on record: I used only one government car, solely for official purposes. Otherwise, I always used my private car, and I can say the same for many other Ministers of State. There are always exceptions depending on threat perception, but most of them do not use convoys.
I hope Kapil ji takes his medicine properly. Get well soon!

Trust is built on transparency. If jurisdictions in the US can livestream counting rooms 24/7, why can’t the ECI?

Aamir Khan stole gold and silver jewellery worth over ₹12 lakh from a Hanuman Temple in Khandwa, MP.
He conducted recce for days, switched off temple lights and turned the CCTV camera away during the theft.
Police recovered the following items: 2 silver crowns, 1 silver mountain-shaped idol piece, 1 armlet, 3 silver umbrellas, 1 silver crown of Lord Shiva, ear ornaments, 1 brass idol of Lord Hanuman, 1 brass bell, 2 brass idols of Laddu Gopal, 1 brass idol of Lord Ganesha, 1 brass idol of Maa Durga, 16 copper pots, 1 donation box, 2 brass lamps, 3 brass diyas, 1 brass vessel, 1 small silver sword, an amplifier, and cash amounting to ₹9,293.
In total, goods worth ₹12 lakh were recovered.

CNBC and Timsy Jaipuria are becoming predictable now post misleading claims, get called out, then silently delete everything once the facts come out.
This has already happened before as well, including when Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had to publicly correct them and their post disappeared soon after.
Hard to see this as careless reporting anymore. It’s starting to look intentional.
