Once I had a patient that complained of a rash around his genitalia but the symptoms he gave me weren’t conclusive and felt off so I told him to go to the more private room so I could examine him, a male nurse came in and I asked him to do it for me because -

One of the stupidest thing I see online is these interprofessional rivalry I see online. As a doctor, I'm barely making $300 a month, few of my consultants are pushing 1k. A popular medical doctor just paid by X in two weeks what I don't earn in 2 months. But guess what? We are kings compared to what our allied healthcare workers earn, especially in the private sectors. Many nurses still earn below 100k, pharmacist below 200k and let's not even talk about med labs and radiographers. The pay of healthcare workers in this country is a meme at this point. But guess what again? Instead of coming together and fighting our slave masters, we'd rather banter ourselves into oblivion. I hope we get it right soon.
