@F4TB @CaccamisAndrew @enunomaduro Yes, just use Laravel Herd and you can get a default cli version as well as a specific version for each project folder. Plus you can change versions on demand with `herd use` + the version you want to use

honestly, just ignore the official php website installations, and go for php.new if you wanna start php development.. it just works..

@F4TB @enunomaduro Laravel Herd works great for this. I think it automatically serves the correct version for each site I have as well. I don't need to switch back and forth
