Oxlint -> Sentry > we had an outdated Eslint 8.x setup anyways and we needed to either upgrade it or move to something else. Oxlint brings so much speed gains given how slow linting is, and almost no one is running it locally project wide because of how slow it is. github.com/getsentry/sent…

We just released @getpolyscope 0.8 with a bunch of new features, improvements, and bug fixes. Most notably: - @getsentry integration! Connect with Sentry to quickly create workspaces from existing Sentry events - Resizable prompt input field - More keyboard shortcuts for you to customize - Creating workspaces from branches now shows you which ones are local and which are remote getpolyscope.com

@zeddotdev Please remove this. I absolutely hate that Zed is wanna-be smart and formats my code.

If you write PHP for a living, which formatter do you use?

The repo isnt open source (yet?), but this is the approach I took to building Junior, an internal slackbot as Sentry that leverages Skills. cra.mr/building-a-sla… (I asked Claude to help me write up this one. It did... ok.)

Even nachos run on software. Behind every ticket scan, concession order, in-arena experience, and more – there's software monitoring these fan touch-points. That's exactly why we're here. We're proud to be the Official Software Application Monitoring Partner of the @Warriors, @Valkyries, and @ChaseCenter. This is a dream partnership for us, and we're incredibly proud to be part of it! 🏀

I feel like I've been hitting my Claude Code rate limit a lot more frequently since Opus 4.6, could be crazy tho

My colleagues now write Github, .Net, Javascript, etc, just to fuck with me. I know about it. And I'll correct it EVERY time. You're welcome.

@ribelo_ @badlogicgames Yeah, this is kinda a really bad take imo. "We have this great tool in our small bubble, nobody else should use it". Pi solves major issues with tuis like codex and claude code. I 100% don't want to pile on work onto Mario, but gatekeeping stuff is not how thins work these days.

PI is the new Vim, so it’s not for everyone. This isn't a criticism of you or Mario. Not every tool should be easy to learn or to use; there is a reason why souls-like games are so popular. We like to suffer, but we don't like to suffer for others. Doing something can be a hobby, but sharing it is a completely different hobby, even more time consuming.

Someone on the pi.dev Discord and asked if there was a minimal tool output mode, like in CC or Codex. I said no, because I don't like that. Then I had the clanker build an extension that implements a minimal tool output mode. Users can never bother me again!

This will certainly require a person with good taste. Like I haven't used Pi extensively so far, as I can't afford a new hobby, but I guess there is a common denominator for a certain feature set beyond the four tools that are in there by default. But I totally get that this is something that should be community driven.

@cleptric @badlogicgames The biggest problem is that it is not clear how this template should look. Should it be like codex, ampcode, or...like pi?

At Cloudflare we have been building a new component library on top of @base_ui – we call it Kumo. It's an opinionated style layer on top of accessible components with some additional tools, such as: - Pre-styled components - Figma plugin (code -> design) - Streaming UI support - AI-ready component registry - CLI Why are we sharing this? We love to give back to the internet. We don't expect this to be a library that everyone adopts and uses in all of their projects. Maybe you like it and want to use it & that's great. But we can share our tooling and our learnings with the community to make developing beautiful UI's easier. If you have been looking at the Cloudflare dashboard UI for the past few months you have probably noticed this new component library in action. While we have a long way to go to make it perfect.... we're happy with how it's coming along! Huge shoutout to all the contributors who have helped build this internally. Wouldn't be where it is without all the help :) @JonnieLappen @mattrothenberg @superhighfives @nandafyi @hkfoster @invisal89 @RozenMD @bradgarropy + Rob & many more

What's a good t-shirt printing service that reliably ships across the world? Need to send out a few things to the people of pi.

Laravel was written before PHP had attributes, so we used properties to define configuration on things. After attributes were introduced, we've accumulated a few attributes that can be used to configure behavior. However, the mix of attributes and properties makes things feel inconsistent. Sometimes you use an attribute, sometimes you use a property. 🤮 For Laravel 13, I've been going through the framework and creating attributes where possible, while still allowing fallback to properties so there are zero breaking changes. 💪 github.com/laravel/framew…
