@TeamYouTube I desperately need a manual review. My channel was demonetized for "mass-produced/inauthentic" content. I am a solo 3D animator and build every single frame from scratch in Blender. I submitted a video appeal showing my raw project files, but it was rejected. The problem? My analytics show the unlisted appeal video got EXACTLY 0 VIEWS. An automated system rejected me without a human ever looking at my proof. Can you please help me fix this algorithmic mistake? 🙏 Channel: youtube.com/c/pilotphotog Full story: youtu.be/sZE-QG4TfiU

@aarondfrancis @jetpackjoe_ Try adding Rhodiola Rosea to your daily regimen (works well combined with B12 supplements if you're not supplementing with that as well). Checkout the book Change your Brain, Change your life, Dr. Amin talks about all kinds of natural alternatives to addictive prescriptions

Focus is all you need! You don't need a new note taking system. You don't need to start over again. You don't need to listen to another podcast about it. You don't need productivity hacks. Unfortunately, you just need to focus.

@F4TB @CaccamisAndrew @enunomaduro Yes, just use Laravel Herd and you can get a default cli version as well as a specific version for each project folder. Plus you can change versions on demand with `herd use` + the version you want to use

Any chance anyone managed to connect Forge to a server sitting behind a DMZ? Is Forge able to connect via a VPN or something?

Do I know anybody from Southern California? We have tons of customers there but I’m curious if anybody on here is from that area.

This holiday season, I'm opening up a limited run of Shift shirts. I've been wearing these for years and finally dialed in the shirt and design with light and dark mode versions. If you like a good geek shirt, check these out: shift-shop.printful.me

@_newtonjob @projecthanif @joelclarkdev I did this to a comedy club database in my early days of independent contracting, 2+ weeks since their last backup, I found out when I tried to show up at a show that same night, didn't stay, lost the gig in the morning, ate very little for weeks after that, never again 🤞🏿

@projecthanif @elegasoft @joelclarkdev I usually prefer not to. It has saved me my job so many times. 😀 Imagine executing a DELETE query and forgot to add the WHERE clause. If the parents have children, that query will fail and you will be grateful for it, otherwise you'll unintentionally lose parents and children.

If you've got many-to-many relationships in your app without a composite unique index on the pivot table, it's probably a bad sign. #Laravel

@_newtonjob @joelclarkdev You should double check that it added the index, I was surprised to find out that Laravel was not adding indexes as I expected it to on foreign relationships. But that was on an old code based which has gone to from Laravel 4.1 all the way up to 11

Searching for the right @filamentphp class while customizing your theme and relying on the inspector tool? Not anymore! With this new plugin, simply hover over elements in your app, and it will display the fi- class in use.

Anyone know what happened to The PHP league iso3166 repo? It's been moved to a different GitHub account and had the history re-written with all the SHAs changing on the releases. This smells like an open source supply chain attack.

"type"? or "variant"? variant is consistent, type is maybe more intuitive?

@_newtonjob @mgsmus Agreed, even if you declare(strict_types=1) it has the same behavior, that seems buggy enough to warrant an RFC, maybe we need a declare(strict_types=2)

@enunomaduro @garyclarketech Today, I have still have market exposure, but I'm fond of investing in non-publicly traded companies (yes, without VC level money, a 401k rollover into a self directed IRA) having found I like having access to invest in smaller companies with retirement money under my own terms

@enunomaduro In my past life as a Wealth Management Advisor (Series 7 & 66), @garyclarketech is right either invest in Buffett or use his "betting on the whole market will out perform picking and choosing in the long term" because of risk adjusted (market/inflation) returns

here's my current investment portfolio: 70% in s&p 500 (2 different ETFs) and 30% in gold. what else have you been up to? i'm not an expert, so i'd love to hear any advice on things you consider "safe".

@garyclarketech @enunomaduro None of that hinders their ability to make money by being the broker/dealers or market makers for when they make their trades though, so they've just moved the management costs outside of where they become reportable

@garyclarketech @enunomaduro As a former Wealth management advisor, I loved this fund too but there are only low fee funds, also many funds had 3 investment tiers A (high up front fee, no exit fee), B (no entry, high exit fees) and C (no entry/exit higher management fee) index funds were often low fee type c
