What a year for @weweb_io!
In a market where everything is getting tangled and redefined by AI, where every time you open X or LinkedIn, someone is declaring the “end of no-code” or the “end of developers”, we carefully watched the data, and the data didn’t lie: our user growth has been skyrocketing consistently since February 2025.
Most of our users found us by searching for no-code solutions or AI solutions for non-coders on Google or ChatGPT (yes, "no-code" is alive!).
So, as the year went on, we doubled down on what makes our product outstanding for non-coders, helping them build faster without sacrificing control.
We shipped major product updates:
* An AI that generates outputs fully editable in our no-code editor.
* A custom @figma import plugin.
* New and improved elements like breadcrumbs, calendar, AI chat, and datagrid.
* A brand-new pop-up system.
* Better icon management.
As we move into 2026, our focus will be on enabling end-to-end frontend & backend development in WeWeb, and building a completely new version of our AI architecture: more precise, stable, and context-aware.
I’m incredibly proud of the team and grateful for all the new users who joined us this year.
The direction you want us to follow is clear and we will continue to work hard in 2026 to make the dream of an AI-powered visual IDE (aka AI + no-code) come true!

We launched 3 weeks ago and our growth has 5x across all KPIs (signups, activation, revenue). We thought it was a spike, but it seems like this is our new normal now.
AI capabilities merged with a no-code editor feels like the right path to empower everyone to build on the web.
Your feedback has been invaluable so far and there is still a lot of work to do, but if we continue to improve this quickly together, the world will feel very different for most no-coders in a few months!

After extensive testing, we've decided to delay integrating Sonnet 3.7 with WeWeb AI for now. While powerful, it consistently produces oversized outputs with accuracy issues.
However, we've discovered a promising approach for using it specifically for custom component generation. Initial results are exceptional, and we're conducting additional testing this week. If all goes well, we plan to roll out 3.7 for component creation next week.
