Jemima Goldsmith
Jemima Goldsmith@Jemima_Khan·
.@elonmusk Elon, you may recall we have met before. I am Jemima Goldsmith (Khan), former wife of Imran Khan — Pakistan’s democratically elected Prime Minister, removed in 2022 and now held 22 months in brutal solitary confinement as a political prisoner. Our two sons have not seen him in all that time, have not spoken to him in months, and are not even allowed to send him letters. His name is banned from every Pakistani TV and radio station. X was therefore our only independent platform to highlight this injustice. However acc to Grok- your own AI- “Every time you post anything about Imran’s jail conditions, solitary confinement or your son’s access to their father, the algorithm limits the post…. The Pakistani authorities have made criticism from Imran Khan’s immediate circle one of their top online enforcement priorities, and X is quietly complying just enough to keep the platform alive in the country.” You have repeatedly pledged that X will protect free speech and will not silence lawful political expression. Yet Grok has examined my X analytics (3.56 million followers) and concluded my account is subjected to what Grok calls “secret throttling” (the algorithm deliberately hides my posts from almost everyone even though the account is not suspended). The damning evidence Grok found is as follows : • In 2023–early 2024, I averaged 400–900 million impressions per month (normal reach for my follower count). • But in the entire 2025, impressions dropped to only 28.6 million total — a 97% crash to <3% of expected reach. • The turning point was May 2025: one post spiked to 4 million impressions the day Pakistan’s X ban ended (proving my audience was still engaged), thereafter impressions were instantly crushed to near zero and stayed there. These numbers & assessments are all verbatim from Grok. I am asking you to honour the free-speech promises you have made for this platform. Please remove the “secret throttling” Grok identified on @Jemima_Khan Thank you.

Daniel is being back-paid almost three years of jobseeker after Services Australia illegally cancelled his payments. How many more are out there who've been living off the kindness of others because the gov can't operate a legal welfare system? theguardian.com/australia-news…

Why they blame migrants for the housing crisis. Here is a hint, it’s ALL about politics. 3 underlying reasons and 1 main reason. Underlying reasons - without these, the main reason does not work. 1. It’s far easier to believe: My suburb is expensive because of migrants than to unpack 30 years of planning laws, tax policies, and treating homes like an art collection. Blaming migrants is the cognitively “cheap” option. It transforms a complex crisis into a single, human-shaped culprit. 2. Humans evolved with a zero-sum mentality, if someone else gets food, shelter, or status, then I lose. Modern economies don’t work that way, but our brains still do. Migrants become the imagined “takers” of jobs, rentals, homes and government services. 3. When housing becomes unaffordable, the real causes, structural tax inequality, policy failure, decades of underinvestment, are abstract and faceless. Migrants, however, are tangible. Blaming them provides an illusion of control: if only “they” weren’t here, my life would improve. It’s a shortcut for anxiety management. Main reason The above psychology is stoked deliberately. Political actors understand that resentment is combustible fuel. They channel it toward migrants because it spares the class of person, who has benefited from a housing market, akin to a prized art collection, from scrutiny. Every angry headline that points downwards (“foreigners pricing you out”) is one that distracts from pointing upwards. Blame the migrant, whilst still enjoying another season of The Block. That’s what tomorrow’s march is all about.

The key issue for the nation and #Insiders is not Coalition cohesion and renewal. Surely it’s what Labor will do to build a good society and leave no one behind?

Attacking a 61 year old Australian PM for wearing and Akrubra in the hot Italian sun, is pettiness at it’s absolute desperate and lowest. The same Natalie Bar who talks to Barnaby Joyce with an Akruba on winter and summer!

Who is winning the contest of appealing to soft and young voters still up for grabs? The data says Labor. Both major parties will be hoping to make a final positive impact in the closing week of the campaign. Across all five waves of our key seats track, the majority of Australians surveyed in these electorates report that the campaign has had little to no impact on their vote. This should not be a surprise. But this election will be decided at the margins and among soft voters and younger Australians, it’s Albanese and Labor who are making the most gains. So for the Coalition’s much publicised strategy, focusing on the soft vote, especially voters they have lost to minor parties, they will need to reverse the trend, detailed here - fast.

No media outlet seems to be covering this, but we’ve seen many young Brethren Church (cult) members showing up to booths in Liberal getup all over the country. But if you speak to them, they know nothing about local issues or how our democratic system works. Under their church rules, they’re not allowed to vote but are allowed to interfere in elections. ATO was onto and raided them last year and they then closed their accounting firm. I dug a bit deeper and they are donors to The Liberal Party, and it just gets darker. It makes complete sense why they are harassing voters nationwide. Probably a lot of them sitting in that room with Dutton today. If you want to add anything to the thread please do, it’s concerning and not enough people are talking about it. Keep religion out of politics.

LOL: Albanese smacks down Dutton, who doesn't seem to understand that batteries store solar power when the sun isn't shining. "I don't know how Peter thinks water works. When it's not raining, and people turn on the tap the water is there. #auspol #leadersdebate

WOW, what a response from Albanese after being called a liar by Dutton. His best moment by far from the entire campaign. "He can attack me but I won't let him attack the wages of working people...cheaper child care...free TAFE." #auspol #leadersdebate
