As part of participating in the African Union Innovation Festival 2025 #Innofest2025, it was an honour to present and showcase digital solutions and prototypes developed within the Office of the Director General (ODG), as part of the AU Digital and Innovation Fellowship. These solutions include a knowledge management and operations tool, a file management tool, and a Calendar of Events portal (PRC & Sub-Committees), designed to enhance efficiency, coordination, and knowledge management. It is a true honour to contribute towards creating digital solutions that address operational challenges and drive digital innovation within the African Union Commission, supporting its mandate and Agenda 2063. It was an honor to meet H.E. @WilliamsRuto, President of The Republic of Kenya 🇰🇪, and to speak briefly. The 2nd Africa-CARICOM Summit brought together African nations, Caribbean states, and the global African diaspora to strengthen unity, deepen integration, and jointly pursue reparations through a comprehensive transcontinental partnership framework. @KenyaEmbAddis @StateHouseKenya

Yesterday, I had the honour of participating in the Mid-Year Review Workshop organized by the Office of the Director General (ODG), which took place at the African Union Headquarters. The workshop marked the launch of the 2025 Mid-Year Review Report process, setting clear guidelines and expectations, aligning contributors on content and methodology, and encouraging stakeholder input. The report will provide a comprehensive documentation of the AU’s key activities and achievements in the first half of the year. It was a great opportunity to contribute towards the overall success as part of the ODG team.

Happy to take part in the 2025 Africa Day Commemoration hosted by @_AfricanUnion, celebrating the rich cultural heritage, diversity, and resilience of Africa. Highlights included opening remarks, a vibrant heritage exhibition with country pavilions, traditional performances, art displays, regional dances, and our tasteful African cuisine. The day provided a unique opportunity to celebrate our shared identity, rich cultural heritage and immense potential, and what a great delight to showcase our 🇨🇲culture. God Bless Africa.

Career Update! Very happy and honoured to share that I have joined the @_AfricanUnion as a Digital and Innovation Fellow. The AU Digital and Innovation Fellowship program deploys highly skilled tech innovators in Africa to organs in the African Union Headquarters to understand the system; identify challenges and develop solutions that address them. Designated to the Office of the Director General (ODG), my role is to co-create and develop tailored solutions to improve and support the office's work and overall delivery of the AU’s mandate. I am very determined to put in my best to achieve these goals and beyond within the AU with lasting positive impacts. I was happy to speak briefly on the topic "Leveraging Social Media for Good" at the ICT for Africa Conference and Summit. Here are the three key points I discussed: ▪️ Building an Online CV/Portfolio: Building an online CV or portfolio is more important than ever in our digital age. Platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter (X), Facebook, and even Instagram can serve as dynamic portfolios where you showcase your skills, experiences, and achievements. ▪️ Learning a Skill: Social media is an incredible learning tool. Platforms like YouTube offer a wealth of tutorials and courses to help you learn or improve skills in coding, graphic design, cooking, and more. I greatly made use of this during my studies at undergraduate. ▪️ Launching projects and initiatives: Social media can effectively launch projects and initiatives, targeting specific user groups and engaging a broader audience. I have greatly used this to launch various projects and solutions over the years. In 2018, I launched the @CGCEGuideApp with a single post here. Today over 40,000 students have made use of this solution. Together, let's harness the power of social media to create positive change, foster growth, and make a meaningful impact. The potential is vast—let's make the most of it! 💡
