I have never gotten along with HOA's. when they make the most absurd rules or create assessments for stupid shit.
On the other hand, I want my neighbors to keep up their yards and not park in the front yard.
I don't want to own a beautiful victorian home just to have someone place a single wide next door or across the street. It's about maintaining property value.

We need to abolish HOAs . They have no authority to demand home owners or property owners follow rules that regulate what they can do with their property. It's none of their business.
