That's a tsunami forming. The historical average for a midterm wipeout is around D+5. Seven points would hand Democrats the House comfortably and put the Senate in play. But the 7.8% Fuentes number is the one that should terrify the GOP. The administration just had Gorka label Fuentes a potential domestic terrorist. Nearly 1 in 12 poll respondents identify with him anyway. That's a voter bloc large enough to swing every competitive House race in the country, and they're FURIOUS at Trump and the GOP over the Iran war. The GOP's midterm math just broke in two directions. They're losing the center over gas prices and the war. And they're losing their own flank to a movement the administration is actively trying to criminalize. You can't win a midterm bleeding from both ends. Trump said the war is "very popular." This poll says otherwise. And November is five months away with no deal signed, gas still climbing, and the party's own base fracturing over the question that started it all: who was this war really for?
