Had a tornado warning earlier at 6 and when my dad met us in the basement he mentioned how three of our neighbors were outside looking at the sky with one out there eating dinner off from his plate. Typical Midwest behavior. Totally unbothered.

We’re halfway there. At the time of posting this, the Artemis II mission is about halfway to the Moon. When the astronauts arrive, they will conduct a lunar flyby and collect scientific observations of the Moon’s surface.

The Space Shuttle Challenger gave us all PTSD. We watched it blow up during class and then went on with our day, no counseling, no trauma response. We were expected to carry on so we did. No wonder we're tough and DGAF.

I know a lot of space fans are still on the space coast and planning to go to KSC Visitors center, which is absolutely worth your time. And as 'Mr Manley' I just want to make it perfectly clear that it's perfectly acceptable to get teary eyed when visiting Atlantis. (but if you're really sensitive about your masculinity or, just don't have time for the big reveal you can always enter via the gift shop to soften the impact)

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! We've been waiting for this one! 🚨 LAUNCH ALERT 🚨 @NASA is scheduled to launch the @NASAArtemis 2 mission from LC-39B at Kennedy Space Center if Florida. This will send 4 astronauts, @astro_reid, @AstroVicGlover, @Astro_Christina, and @Astro_Jeremy into a Translunar Injection, which will see them fly by the moon before returning back to Earth after a 10 day trip! Below is your graphic for this mission This follows the crew up till a little after the TLI burn to send them to the moon. We also want to state that this trajectory is EXTREMELY volatile, as a 5 minute slip in the window changes everything! If something slips we will do our best to update and get you information as quick as possible.
