@FPLStone We played fabulous football in the late summer and autumn.
Then it all went to waste as he couldn’t sort out the egos in the dressing room as suggested.
Idk if Mourinho can get that sorted, for a while maybe, but you need to be winning games to keep everyone tuned in.

@FPLStone I think he is excellent at quickly installing a positional system in which players tend to create a lot of chances for themselves through passing patterns. Def line is dangerously high, but we were 7 pts clear at the top scoring a lot.
That was apparent straight from the CWC.

@NighthawkFPL It’s going to be a short term fix, then it becomes apparent Jose has lost touch with current football and we will look back at another wasted season with a squad of tremendous talent.
Until we start thinking long term and accepting growing pains (Alonso) we will never evolve

@FPL_Chase Really curious to see how Jose works out. He has his pros that he’s in sync with the club culture, the city, expectations that emerge, managing egos but like you said, he doesn’t last long to make an visible impact. I also feel his footballing tactics aren’t conducive today.

These are absolutely the wrong kind of questions.
We should be asking, how can Mourinho start or revive a reasonable sporting project for the future, when he can barely last one season?
How can we elevate dressing room culture with the man who is a personified conflict?

People scared about Mourinho's return need to ask themselves the following questions. What are you afraid of? Can it really get worse than this? What do you have to lose?
