I think a lot of the $VELO weakness is Lucid's initiation spooking the market with a $55M revenue estimate for 2026. Not impossible, but think that's OVERLY conservative given buoyant industrial demand, recent traction w/ defense, and the space industry continuing to see rapid growth. @pennycheck @kingtutcap

@dixonhill432305 I agree, they really should take better care of their shareholders. These events should be scheduled with an annual plan, not like a fledgling company

$ASTS Didn't like the dillution announcement right after the unfolding, I think they should just dilute for 5B at once and be transparent about it.

@hvdm1987 @guideforman Stocks and bonds are actually considered liquid as you can convert them into any major currency in an instant as opposed to real estate and other alternative investments.

@krassenstein The fact that so many of you stupid cunts do not realise the the numerals we already use (0-9) are in fact Arabic numerals is mind-boggling. Victims of their own stupidity and led by nothing but hate.

Bro relax, I tagged the article in several replies. I didn’t even say the 22b was invested in ast explicitly and said expecting a PR from the company. Nobody knows what the number is yet bc AST hasn’t said anything. If people are making investment decisions before the actual company says anything about this that’s on them.

@Clayton37808570 @tottaway22 They asked if it had anything to do with a BO delay and if the payment thus serves to secure additional capacity with spaceX as BO ramps up. They denied it had anything to do with a BO delay

@tottaway22 Great write up. I was thinking this but this detail nailed it. I think that extra $25M early payment may be a clue. The one analyst asked why the early payment and mention BO and ASTS literally said that was not it. So that leaves SpaceX who they paid extra to in the quarter.

Abel on the $ASTS call mentioned 6-8 BBs per launch, got me thinking. Did they switch from F9 to FH? Or was it simply only referring to New Glenn? BlueBird Block 2 = 4.3m wide & 1.6m tall 4,200kg (FM1&2 are 5800kg) Some concerned they can’t drop weight that much so I’ll include assuming 5k each 4 BBs = 16,800 (20,000) & 6.4m tall 6 BBs = 25,200 (30,000) & 9.6m tall 8 BBs = 33,600 (40,000) & 12.8m tall SpaceX F9 Faring Size = 4.6m x 6.7m *technically 11m tall but isn’t usable due to bb width Weight to LEO = 17,500 Expendable = 22,800 SpaceX Falcon Heavy Faring Size = 4.6m x 6.7m Extended = 4.6m x 12.2m (16.5m) Weight to LEO = 30-50,000kg (reuse- hard to find exact data) Expendable = 63,800kg Blue Origin New Glenn Faring size = 7m x 14m (21m) Weight to LEO = 25,000* Goal is 45,000 but Eric Berger reported initial flights are closer to 25k. F9 Cost = $60m ($70 list) FH Cost = $100m NG Cost = $100m (last reported was $68m) So taking this all together you end up with F9 = $20m/bb (using 3BBs) FH = $16.6m/bb NG = $12.5m/bb So mainly with weight likely closer to 4500-5000kg vs 4000kg it would make sense to use Falcon Heavy vs F9 or the reference to 6 was due to initial NG being <30k capacity. arstechnica.com/space/2024/12/… cnbc.com/2022/04/05/ama… reddit.com/r/SpaceXLounge…

@philliplyle410 In the EC they referenced 6-8 satelites per launch on average with a launch every 45-60 days. You're calculation implies less than that number on average. Let's see what holds to be true....

How are they deploying nationwide intermittent service by end of this year with only 5 BB1 + 2 BB2s, per their PR? I think I was "right" on my prediction that beta service would be delayed 3-6 months, because no MNO is seriously going to sell or offer anything with 7 birds in the air. Maybe they mean they will have approvals to start service or something. Very misleading PR statement. Looking at the launch chart, you realistically can't offer anything close to commercial service until mid to end of 2026. $ASTS

I feel like y’all do this to yourselves at this point. I don’t know what you thought you were being flown out for, because I can guarantee it wasn’t to discuss the pick & roll. Thirdly, why are you traveling without money? Have y’all not learned by now? Of course he wants 🐱🤣

The name of the company, Quantum Corp. It’s a cutting‑edge, high‑tech firm on the West Coast, awaiting imminent patent approval for the next generation of quantum computers with huge military and civilian applications. Right now, the stock trades over the counter at nine dollars a share, and our analysts indicate it could go a heck of a lot higher than that. Your profit on a mere six‑thousand‑dollar investment could be upwards of sixty‑thousand dollars

FM24 and onwards will do orbital raise. and target 685-690 km. There are now 28 satellites in SSO Which happends to be a typical gov/ DoD orbit This number doubled from recent ITU update (pic2)where these SSO first appeared Continous (incl polar region) coverage unlocked👀 /3

$ASTS: YES IT HAS STARTED! The mutual fund I have been waiting for finally bought in! Fidelity just purchased an initial 169,600 share position in AST SpaceMobile. When Fidelity likes a stock, they can buy up to 15% of the shares outstanding. I'm going to be tracking their ownership very closely.
