I got an oil change last week and it was $89.99. Inflation has hit oil changes hard. Wasn’t that long ago I’d get it for $29.99 with a coupon.

🚨 BREAKING: THE ARTEMIS LAUNCH IS THE DEEPEST COVER-UP YET. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO THE MOON. THEY ARE HIDING WHAT IS ALREADY THERE! 🚨 Yesterday's so-called historic Artemis II blast-off from Kennedy Space Center was not a triumphant return to the Moon after 50 plus years. It was Stage 2 of the greatest psyop in human history. They rolled out that bloated SLS rocket built with your tax dollars funneled through endless delays and cost overruns carrying four so-called heroes on a 10-day joyride. But ask yourself: Why no landing? Why just a quick lap around the Moon and back? Because they cannot risk showing you what is really on the lunar surface. The original Apollo missions? All filmed on a Hollywood soundstage. Van Allen radiation belts? Deadly. Flag waving in vacuum? Studio fans. No stars in the photos? Convenient lighting. Buzz Aldrin himself looked uncomfortable when pressed. Now they are rebooting the narrative with Artemis because the old lie is crumbling under scrutiny. This launch was pure theater: - Perfect timing right after years of technical issues and budget black holes. - Crew includes international players, Canadian astronaut and all, to make it look global while the real players pull strings from the shadows. - That convenient toilet fan glitch hours in? Classic distraction. Oh no, the billion-dollar potty broke! Meanwhile, the real payload, surveillance tech or alien artifact retrieval protocols, slips under the radar. Why now? Distraction from Earthly chaos. Keep the sheep cheering fireworks in the sky while the real power consolidates control over space narrative, resources, and the coming disclosure they will script themselves. The sheep are celebrating humanity's return. The awake see the strings. They faked it before. They are faking it better now. Question everything.

Absolutely!!! Why are we STILL requiring students to take foreign language in high school when there is virtually no benefit. Do high schoolers become fluent in the foreign language? No. Does it have a high ROI on cognitive development and brain health? Also no. Students’ brains would benefit more from 60 minutes of aerobic exercise than from sitting in a foreign language class. Also, we all have translators in our pockets. This is one of the many requirements in education whose time has expired. Public ed must stop wasting students’ time.

American high schools are wrong for requiring American students to learn Spanish in order to earn advanced diplomas, while not giving those same students the option to take practical classes like electrical or wood shop.

@BostonFanRoom What if there was a way to make up for that with TV deals? New CBA could be a good opportunity for that. You’d still get a decent amount of fans on a weekday imo.

As Major League Baseball, why isn’t there a day game every single day? There should be a game on at 1pm ET Monday-Sunday. More eyes, every team getting exposure. Stands might not sell out on a Monday afternoon but every team gets seen. Casual fans tune in. The sport grows.

@AbigailShrier @ishapiro @JonHaidt Its because teachers unions don't want teachers to be filmed spewing bullshit in the classroom. Has nothing to do with protecting children.

Two years ago, almost 0 schools were interested in even considering going phone free. Now, whole school systems are phone free. The rest are scrambling to get on board We owe @JonHaidt a tremendous debt of gratitude. What he achieved - this quickly - is almost unimaginable.

The Anxious Generation was published two years ago today, in a very different world. Back then, the most common objection I got was resignation: "The train has left the station." "You can't put toothpaste back in the tube." "It's how the kids connect today." Today, the world looks very different. It turns out that if our kids were all on a train and we learned it was heading toward a collapsed bridge, we'd find a way to stop it and bring them safely back to the station. That’s what’s happening now. After the historic verdicts in Los Angeles and New Mexico, today is a great day to reflect on the capacity of people in democratic societies to take action, even when opposing some of the most powerful corporations in history. We're getting access to the courts. We're getting phone-free schools. We're seeing whole neighborhoods letting kids out to play, unsupervised, which is what we older folk all remember as the best part of childhood. So I want to recognize: --The mothers (and, right behind them, fathers) who rose up by the millions and powered the movement. --The farsighted governors and legislators in red states and blue states who have been innovating on policy solutions. --The leaders of a dozen of nations, who are raising the age to 16 for opening social media accounts (with a special shoutout to Australia, for going first). --The teachers and school administrators who had their classrooms disrupted for 15 years, and who are now eager to think through new solutions as screens have taken over and obstructed learning. --The grassroots organizations who have been dedicating their efforts to advocate for all of the above in their local communities. --The millions of members of Gen Z who have been rising up, demanding agency over how they spend their lives in the digital era, and finding better ways to connect in real life. And one final group: the survivor parents--the ones you saw in those pictures of people embracing on the front steps of the LA courthouse. I have met many over the years. I am in awe of their courage and tenacity, their willingness to tell their stories of loss, over and over again, to different audiences, in the hope that no other parent would have to endure what they have endured. At long last, juries and legislatures are hearing you, and are acting. Together, we are calling the train back to the station. Together, we are rolling back the phone based childhood and reclaiming life in the real world. The work continues. If you’re not already involved, join us: anxiousgeneration.com/join
