so,you are this poor with history. The first region that planned to secede was the north. The British helped to abort it with advisory. Check history book or ask more informed northerners
Hamma@HAHayatu

There is a reason founding fathers of this country Nigeria kept most of its security headquarters in the North. The answer is simple the north is the only part of Nigeria that have never dreamt of seceding. Tinubu is now gradually balkanizing some of this agencies and moving them away to other part.

The APC in 2014 had 3 power blocs—CPC, ACN, and nPDP. They scaled through because the interests of these power blocs were considered, sacrifices were made, and negotiations took place. Buhari had the bloc votes but he wasn’t handed the ticket, he fought for it. The APC Primary in 2014 was keenly contested, it didn’t kick off until 2-3 am in the morning the next day. CPC took the presidency, ACN took the VP, and nPDP took the Senate. nPDP was almost schemed out but they played a fast one on them. In the ADC, we have the APC, PDP, LP, and NNPP. APC has the largest bloc followed by the PDP and then LP and NNPP. You cannot be asking for the ticket ignoring the larger blocs because you say you have electoral value. If you do then do it alone. All power blocs should be considered and there must be a balance. Politics is give and take. If you cannot give and take you have no business in this game.

You are 79 years old, @atiku. You will be president at 80 years of age in 2027, if elected. You’ll be 84 by the end of a first-term in 2031 and 88 by the end of an eight-year presidency in 2035. And you expect Nigerians, the majority of whom are under the age of 30, to take you seriously?

It's very strange that the ADC presidential aspirants haven't started developing a spirit of consideration for a consensus. If everybody is insisting on direct primary instead of a consensus, then they're preparing to kill the party. I listened to your interview with Atiku, and he said 2027 will be the last time he'll run for the presidency. So, he's running. At this stage, having followed the discussions on the best thing ADC should do, I was thinking that Atiku would leave the stage for younger people, but he said he's contesting. He's supposed to be a father at this stage and at his age. If all the aspirants go all out to wrestle, it may get to the point that some people will have bloody noses, and this will cause the party to suffer in the presidential election. - Senator Victor Umeh speaks on Peter Obi's visit to Amaechi and Atiku's vow on running for the presidency in 2027 Lol 😆 ADC house of confusion

Atiku manages the economy at the national level, not at the state level. He managed the National Economic Council (NEC) which means that he managed 36 state governors individually and collectively _ Barr. Mrs. Tokunbo Adeola, S.A. to OBJ on NEC Experience shows that managing a state economy is different from managing the national economy. In Nigeria, only here do people believe that former governors have ‘more experience than a former vice president’ who managed 36 state governors both individually and collectively (See attached video👇). Governors learned from Atiku—ask former governors Olusegun Osoba, former governor Peter Obi (became governor on 17 March 2006), Former Governor Bola Tinubu, and Former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, etc. They will testify to what they learnt from Atiku when he was chairman of the National Economic Council and how he governed Nigeria from 1999 to 2003 while Obasanjo was traveling around the world seeking debt forgiveness. Today, when President Tinubu makes a mistake, he is quickly criticized and then rectifies it. APC members say “Tinubu is a listening President,” but he was a former governor managing the state economy without broad national experience—that's why we are where we are now. His current actions are mostly trial and error. From 1999 to 2007, governors gained their experience under Alhaji Atiku Abubakar's leadership. He was the leader who managed governors individually and collectively. Governors such as Bola Tinubu, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Peter Obi (since March 17, 2006), along with others in Obasanjo’s administration, learnt from him. At our age and stage of life, we’re honestly too old to be playing games with our future: Kwankwaso was 36 when he became Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Reps in 1992, 43 when he became Kano Governor; Peter Obi was 45 when he was sworn-in as Governor of Anambra in 2006; Atiku Abubakar was 46 when he first ran to be Governor of Adamawa and then dared to contest against heavyweights for President the following year. Those saying Atikulates will support Tinubu if Obi gets the ADC ticket are as wrong as those saying Obidients will support Tinubu if Atiku gets it - nobody is playing foolish online games anymore. Just this past week alone, I know of over five meetings between Obidients, Atikulates and Kwankwasiyya across the country - I attended one personally in Abuja and patriots have met twice afterwards. Another held in Lagos, another in Kano. Yesterday I saw Comr. Obinna Okorie (Atikulate) visited Yunusa Tanko (Obidient) and I’m convinced that even more of these meeting are going on than I’m aware of. If you’re waiting for the crab to bat an eyelid, you will spend eternity beside the river. If you think people in their 30s and 40s are waiting for their future to be decided and prescribed: keep waiting 👍🏽

Kwankwaso called me telling me this is the solution for the North, a way out, I said no. Any discussion concerning the North with people like you is rubbish because you’re the same people who destroyed the country. Even in the last conducted election we begged Kwankwaso to step down for a Northerner, Atiku Abubakar, but he refused and went ahead with his candidature under a small party just to split our votes and pave the way for Tinubu. -Nafi’u Bala Gombe, Factional ADC Leader Lol 😆

Emma ik Umeh (Tcee )🇳🇬@emmaikumeh

The fact is Atiku or Peter Obi can't win the 2027 Presidential election on their individual own. First of all, I am not a member of any political party so my opinion is my personal right. If you look at the leadership composition of the ADC, majority are from the North. Party membership-wise, the North has more numbers than the South, in ADC. As for Obidients that are already pairing Peter Obi and Kwankwaso and think it is a winning ticket. It is not a winning ticket. He is only popular in Kano and maybe a bit in Jigawa. The ticket will excite the South but not the North as the North does not really trust Kwankwaso. Most of the stakeholders in South-South are supporters of Tinubu. Compare the numbers to the number of leaders in the North that are in ADC. In Southeast, many of the leaders may be in APC but there is an emotional attachment to Peter Obi. People don't much have much emotional attachment to Peter Obi in South-South, compared to Southeast. The South-West is a no-go area. We all already know. In South-West, I predict that alot of votes will be pumped out in frightening proportion. North Central have always been non-aligned. They gave the three major candidates in the last Presidential election, I think up to a million votes each. So this assumption that with Obi/Kwankwaso ticket, the election will be won by the opposition before 12noon is a big joke. This over-reliance on Kwankwaso is a big joke. What are you offering the North? The North loves power. Even the Kwankwaso is not that popular even in North West and in majority of the States in the North. And as for the Atiku supporters; one thing is true, Atiku is currently not that popular in the South. Atiku needs somebody to help him out in the South. Like I said earlier, the strength of ADC is their unity. If they are not united, the coalition is finished. I don't see that unity in ADC yet because the three Presidential aspirants are over-ambitious. So anyhow they want to arrange the ticket, without unity to get the campaign works done, before 12noon on election day, the opposition will lose the election. In Southeast, there are patterns ongoing in which many people are entrenching themselves in APC because of 2031 and 2039. It is part of why ADC is battling for acceptance in the South. Most of the places that ADC events have been attacked so far are in the South, e.g Cross River, Rivers and Edo. I advise the ADC to get its acts together. It's strength is its unity and not in the over-ambitiousness for power by any of them regardless of any ticket arrangement.
