Well I know for myself it's too easy to spend between $20-$30 on lunch, fast food, gas station, door-dash ect. I try not to make a habit of it, but it's easy.
I know guys that doordash almost every day, which can be considerably more than $30 due to the up-charge.
It's foolish and wasteful spending, but lots do it, most of us spend the cost of a decent used car on convenience yearly.
This is something that the generations before didn't do. Delayed gratification for our younger culture is a very hard thing when we have grown up with the capability to have instant gratification in everything.

this scene is so important because Vegeta doesn't get Super Saiyan 2 here. it really shows it wasn't some emotional awakening alone that could get Gohan to that point. he surpassed the Super Saiyan wall through mastering Super Saiyan with his father and his own hidden power.

I own a home. I cook food. 10 years ago I could get a $5 footlong at Subway and eat half for lunch and half for dinner.

This is the issue I have with “girl dads.”
Men like this end up spoiling their daughters to the point of entitlement. A girl who is used to getting everything she wants from her father will grow up expecting the same from a future husband.
“Girl dads” end up displaying pushover behavior, then demand that young men do the same for their daughters.
So many of them resent young men today because we refuse to put their daughters on a pedestal the same way they did with their daughters and wives.
We will not spoil your “little princess” anymore.
