Fans of Miles are Powerscalers, it only matters how many people he can "beat." The writing and actual plot don't matter as long as he can win against "stronger" characters. If he can beat popular or better characters that means he is "better." Why they think this you can infer easily I think.

I told him its rude and selfish to put the responsibility of your mental health on me when I repeatedly assured him that I wasn't a licensed professional and felt uncomfortable with the pressure.

@TyzTheSaiyan Let's be honest, Super Saiyan 1 from the Frieza Saga has more differences from Modern SSJ than SSJ Blue. To the point where people debate which is better. Blue isn't different enough to stand out for people to notice, especially since Blue isn't that popular comparitively.

E eu nem digo isso porque “não faz sentido ter preconceito com mutante ao mesmo tempo que admiram os Vingadores”. Na verdade é o oposto. A metáfora é ruim porque FAZ SENTIDO DEMAIS ter preconceito com mutantes. Imagina você viver num mundo onde um moleque pode DO NADA despertar o poder de pulverizar um bairro inteiro com um espirro. O ser humano comum que não tiver medo disso é um completo retardado. Inclusive, sabe quem mais deveria ser contra mutantes? O pessoal do lobby desarmamentista. Os caras usam massacres em escolas para causar comoção em seu discurso, mas um adolescente com uma bazuca atrás dos olhos frequentando a mesma escola do seu filho é de boa? Kkkkkk Nem a galera que defende o armamento é a favor de adolescentes portando armas de fogo, então QUEM EM SÃ CONSCIÊNCIA SERIA A FAVOR DE ADOLESCENTES COM SUPER PODERES ANDANDO LIVREMENTE POR AÍ? E o negócio piora se você considerar que o número de tragédias e catástrofes envolvendo mutantes é assustadoramente alto no universo Marvel. Várias escolas já foram destruídas por eles pra provar que eles são ameaças reais. E se você ainda não está convencido, lembre-se de que existem ordens e irmandades de mutantes supremacistas que não só pregam o extermínio da raça humana como JÁ TENTARAM várias vezes executar esse plano. Os mutantes estão mais próximos de super-nazistas do que de super-heróis (ainda que alguns tenham um background como vítimas do nazismo pra gerar comoção). Beleza, os X-Men são de fato heróis porque usam seus poderes para o bem, protegem os humanos e lutam pela harmonia entre as raças, só que eles representam um número ínfimo de mutantes. Existem bem mais mutantes que representam uma ameaça para a humanidade do que heróis. Então se você for honesto consigo mesmo e levar a história a sério vai perceber que você também não ia querer seu filho na mesma escola de um moleque que cospe ácido, especialmente quando sabe que boa parte deles são visivelmente delinquentes. Então a alegoria é uma merda porque ela cria um cenário onde o racismo faz sentido pra caralho, que é o oposto do que qualquer obra anti-racista deveria buscar. Tudo bem que você observa a história pela perspectiva dos heróis, o que “limpa” todas as camadas problemáticas que eu apresentei aqui, mas se você analisar a obra com um pouquinho mas de profundidade, não vai ser difícil perceber tudo isso. E pra encerrar, se toda a lore de preconceito já é questionável (apesar de entender que alegorias não precisam ser perfeitas) o discurso desse “vilão” faz ainda mais sentido quando você sabe que os humanos do universo Marvel REALMENTE sofrem pra caramba em toda essa treta de mutantes vs humanos. Não é como se fosse um massacre unilateral contra mutantes onde eles são apenas as vítimas, os coitadinhos. Não, mutantes já mataram humanos pra caralho e continuam criando problemas de dimensões globais várias vezes por ano. Stan Lee, pensando nos X-Men apenas como mais uma história sobre um grupo de heróis, estava num caminho muito mais saudável do que os ativistas que quiseram lacrar em cima do tema, mas eram burros demais pra perceber todos os subtextos que estavam criando.
