@FailingPastor

@thisisfoster In several cases I have seen men project onto a pastor their issues with their dad, or the pastor's acceptance to be their dad's acceptance. Hard to explain, but the pastor becomes replacement dad. They hated first dad. They will eventually hate the pastor they used as dad.

@ProvisionistP Christians should read more Church History.

"Any Christian who wants to legislate theology is not Reformed. A large facet of the Reformation was rejecting government-enforced theology."
Servetus and many others would like word...

Any Christian who wants to legislate theology is not Reformed. A large facet of the Reformation was rejecting government-enforced theology. Some Reformers were imprisoned or executed for their “crimes.” You can’t promote the criminalization of theology and call yourself Reformed.

@RevReads289 even a local church can be an institution that gets in the way. I know many who stick to a church all their life thinking this is faith and loyalty to the body of Christ when the church itself departed from sound doctrine long ago.

@Curi_Christian perhaps a good start would be to stop deforming.

@FailingPastor That's right loser. Now get in and follow me!
English

@Herb_Nenninger I don't know that he convinced many opponents. He did entertain people though!
English

@FailingPastor That strategy worked well for Martin Luther.

@ProvisionistP I think the distinction is that He changes His mind when people respond to Him or not.
He does not change His mind out of uncertainty or not being dependable, like people do.

@ferrismattic and every time the word law is used it's not necessarily referring to the Mosaic Law.
