@VERYKOOLLUKEY Agreed. Been eating all kinds of raw meat from grocery stores in different countries for 6-7 years, never had an issue.

ironically you are much more likely, at least nominally speaking, to get a food borne illness from produce (chiefly vegetables) than you are from raw meat or raw milk It is perfectly safe to eat raw meat from the supermarket in western countries

@litrallyhitlr This is interesting because anecdotally I felt totally fine putting my first baby in a bouncer while I did those things, even if she was upset, but I feel stress at the thought of doing it with my second born, mainly because my toddler will have access to them

Being able to put your baby in a safe spot and letting them cry so you can eat/shower/etc is absolutely necessary however unfortunately most times it’s just not possible as a ftm and is a skill learned after multiple children

Normalize willing things into existence. Want a coffee? Get it. Curious about making cheesecake? Do it. Always wanted to finish that book? Read it. Refuse to let yourself think. Minimize the time between wanting and getting. Everything in your life will change.
