I think it makes perfect sense that the people who get disproportionate scrutiny over their beauty 24/7 (especially this girl, who's experienced it against her will since she basically formed consciousness) would get some beauty enhancing procedures and its not really the same thing as becky who works at the corner store who's just some random bitch no one has ever heard of and isn't facing 24/7 harassment about how she looks and confined to that discourse until the day she literally fucking dies

If the #BlueJays choose to move off Jeff Hoffman in the closer's role, even briefly, I like the idea of Louis Varland sharing the 9th with Braydon Fisher. If the game allows for Varland in the 9th, great. If a hot spot comes up earlier, it's Varland's, then Fisher gets the 9th.

@KeeganMatheson I don't get the reluctancy to make Varland the de facto closer. Other teams should know he's coming out in the ninth and they're likely not getting a run. Use him occasionally in high leverage spots earlier if necessary. One thing for sure is Hoffman needs to lose the job

I don't agree at all with using Varland as a traditional 9th inning "closer". Louis Varland needs to be used as a high leverage guy facing the toughest part of the opponent's lineup....whether that falls in the 7th, 8th or 9th when we have a 1 to 3 run lead late in the game. It makes no sense to have Varland pitch the 9th in a 1 run game if the 9th has the bottom of the order coming up. It would make more sense to use him in the 8th for the middle of the order.
