@HEBobiwine I oppose torture and brutality against Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi. But I reject your post promoting tribalism and religious hatred. Weaponising Buganda, Muslim, and NUP identities only divides Uganda. We need unity and issue based politics, not hate. Rule of law for all. #RuleOfLaw

@HEBobiwine Drop Moslem! Moslems are enjoying Uganda. Do you know how many Moslems are in the cabinet? How many permanent secretaries are moslems? How many local government heads are moslems? Extra. Please don't involve religion.

@HEBobiwine Dear @HEBobiwine i request that this tribalist agenda you're pushing around whilst you sit in your comfy apartment will cost you your life and a spot in heaven. it's as if there's no Muganda working in this man's regime😭 You'll end up reaping nothing from your efforts

We’re going astray with the tribal narrative, Mr. Kyagulanyi. I believe the government targets anyone who opposes it, regardless of their tribe. Are you suggesting that people like Rubongoya and Tatana are safe simply because they’re not Baganda? Don’t we also have Banyankore NUP supporters and foot soldiers who have been arrested and are in prison?

Mr.Kyagulanyi, whereas I accept the fact that we should all speak up against any form of impunity such as brutality, hatred & torture,I believe that it's as well important for us not to use the same energy we use in speaking up against those forms of impunity to promote faith/belief discrimination & tribalism. Two wrongs can't make one right.

We’ve received disturbing reports alleging that Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi was tortured to near death at Kasenyi SFC military barracks and is now being hidden from the public while receiving treatment before he can be produced. These reports cannot be dismissed lightly. Many of us have gone through similar ordeals at the hands of this regime and were deliberately hidden from the public until our wounds and the evidence of torture had faded. While the regime keeps the country distracted with endless diversions, it’s now 10 days since our Deputy President of the Buganda region was abducted in broad daylight and since then, he has never been seen again. Neither the police nor the army have accounted for his whereabouts. Where is Hon Muwanga Kivumbi ?

The cowardly regime abducted Comrade Kabaya yesterday, subjected him to brutal treatment, and committed all sorts of abuses against him. We are grateful to our legal team, especially Counsel @KakuruTumusiime for their tireless efforts in securing his release on bail. The struggle for justice and freedom continues. #FreeOurPeople

Let’s hope this cowardly regime does not punish this young man for speaking out. Thanks you
