BREAKING: Mahoro Medical Centre, Ngoma (Nakaseke District), has officially responded to an unlawful closure directive issued by the Deputy CAO, Sunday Eric, on 22 Oct 2025. We call this what it is — abuse of office and political persecution.

You pathetic fool, sit down now and immediately. Why is that always you low profile regime pigs are all over here on our streets yapping shit ? Look around and see who practices racist and tribal slurs more than the regime you bootlick. You're a pathetic loser and a wild beast.

@HEBobiwine I oppose torture and brutality against Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi. But I reject your post promoting tribalism and religious hatred. Weaponising Buganda, Muslim, and NUP identities only divides Uganda. We need unity and issue based politics, not hate. Rule of law for all. #RuleOfLaw

@HEBobiwine Drop Moslem! Moslems are enjoying Uganda. Do you know how many Moslems are in the cabinet? How many permanent secretaries are moslems? How many local government heads are moslems? Extra. Please don't involve religion.

@HEBobiwine Dear @HEBobiwine i request that this tribalist agenda you're pushing around whilst you sit in your comfy apartment will cost you your life and a spot in heaven. it's as if there's no Muganda working in this man's regime😭 You'll end up reaping nothing from your efforts

We’re going astray with the tribal narrative, Mr. Kyagulanyi. I believe the government targets anyone who opposes it, regardless of their tribe. Are you suggesting that people like Rubongoya and Tatana are safe simply because they’re not Baganda? Don’t we also have Banyankore NUP supporters and foot soldiers who have been arrested and are in prison?

Mr.Kyagulanyi, whereas I accept the fact that we should all speak up against any form of impunity such as brutality, hatred & torture,I believe that it's as well important for us not to use the same energy we use in speaking up against those forms of impunity to promote faith/belief discrimination & tribalism. Two wrongs can't make one right.

Ten days on: Muwanga Kivumbi still missing Kivumbi was intercepted near Mpigi police station while travelling to Kampala, a day after the International Crimes Division (ICD) of the High court granted him bail on July 10, 2026. Police spokesperson ACP Kituuma Rusoke said that if Kivumbi was in the custody of any security agency, he would be produced before court at the appropriate time. observer.ug/news/ten-days-…

Sadly for Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi, he is a Muganda, a Muslim, and a member of NUP. In Uganda today, each of these identities can invite hatred, brutality, and torture when one is abducted. So imagine what happens to someone who combines all the three!

Netflix’s The Polygamist got it dead wrong: Jonasi wasn't killed by HIV—he was killed by shame. 🛑 While 10,000 scientists meet in Rio for #AIDS2026, millions are still dying in secret. Here is the life-saving truth TV shows won't tell you about HIV, fear, and staying alive 👇🧵

@Winnie_Byanyima @iasociety @MinofHealthUG @raelwyne @trishbae19 @HIVGlasgow @AIDS_conference @aidscommission @WHO @UNAIDS @NabukeeraDoree2 3/7 So why are people—especially men—still dying? Across Africa, men test later and start treatment later because we’re taught "real men don't get sick." In South Africa, 96% of people know their status, but only 79% stay on treatment. That gap is where shame kills.@nafophanu

Under Article 24 of the Ugandan Constitution, all persons have a right to freedom from cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment. Furthermore, international standards (like the UN Mandela Rules) require the state to provide adequate medical care to detained persons.

Let’s replace gossip with support and fear with facts. How can we make our local clinics and homes safe places to get tested and treated? 👇 #AIDS2026 #HealthForALL
