I love Gaming, Youtube, twitch, and being as weird as I can as long as I can make someone laugh.

@Phontomen Oh really? The Cyborg soldiers, soldiers specifically made to be sent into war and bring fear to the enemy, looks menacing? Wow it’s almost like that’s a common morale tactic or something.

They look evil, because the point is EVERYONE IS EVIL. And when EVERYONE IS EVIL you just pick the side that's less bad. And in our case Super Earth is the only faction fighting FOR HUMANS TO LIVE approximately NORMAL LIVES. The failing of modern perceptions is they need completely black and white sides, because they just want to pick the white side, it's always about finding the "good guys" as fast as possible. Because rather conceitedly a lot of them just want to be on that side because "The good guys always win." But when they can't find them they become confused, and showcase they cannot contemplate the deeper elements of conflict and why it happens.

The update. Let's talk about the update. "It appears my post generated far more attention than I intended." This is how all clarifications begin. I didn't expect you to read what I wrote. And remember it. "With a lot of speculative reading between the lines." Between the lines. The lines that said "eliminate every line of C and C++ from Microsoft by 2030." Those lines. What was between them? Eliminate. Every. Line. By. 2030. That's not between the lines. That's the lines. "Just to clarify... Windows is NOT being rewritten in Rust with AI." The asterisks. Emphasis asterisks. Panic asterisks. Please-stop-emailing-my-VP asterisks. "My team's project is a research project." Research project. The original post said "My goal is to eliminate every line of C and C++ from Microsoft by 2030." My goal. Not "my research question." Not "our hypothesis." My goal. Goals are things you intend to achieve. Research is things you're exploring. These are different words. With different meanings. "The intent of my post was to find like-minded engineers." Like-minded. Engineers who read "1 engineer, 1 month, 1 million lines of code" and didn't ask follow-up questions. Those engineers. "Not to set a new strategy for Windows 11+." The post said "Microsoft's largest codebases." What did you think people would think? "Or to imply that Rust is an endpoint." The post said "translating Microsoft's largest C and C++ systems to Rust." Endpoint implied. Now the North Star saves us. North Star. The escape hatch. North Stars are unreachable by definition. You can't fail to reach something you never meant to reach. That's the trick. The original post also said: "Our team is driven by a growth mindset." Growth mindset. "We take on bold risks." Bold risks. "We work and play well with others." Work and play. Well with others. This is a job listing or a kindergarten report card. I can't tell anymore. "We have learned that our diversity and growth mindset is critical to success in the rapidly changing word of AI-based tools." Word. It says "word." Not "world." Word. Nobody proofread the manifesto. "Eliminate technical debt at scale." Technical debt at scale. By creating clarification debt. At scale. The original post: "Eliminate every line of C and C++ by 2030." The update: "This is a research project and we never said that." You said that. It's still there. In the post. That you wrote. Multi-year endeavor. North Star. Research project. Growth mindset. The clarification is longer than the apology. Because it's not an apology. It's a reframe. Reframe means: I meant what I said until you noticed. Now I meant something else.

Man I'm so tired but Microsoft just can't stop losing. This will be a colossal failure that they will most likely have to backtrack. You can't even physically READ one million lines a month, let alone understand them. And we all know how bad AI is at writing systems level code

@fablelon @attisheps It’s not really pick and choosing when someone likes an AI that literally doesn’t do any of the negative parts of AI.

@FattestDolphin @pastelETH @dauber You need to look into Alex Honnold and the documentary “Free Solo” He genuinely does this for real. It’s not Netflix claiming it, this man has already climbed a mountain with no ropes or safety equipment. The documentary is a crazy watch. This is a real thing

People telling him to move on is crazy like how are y’all defending a multimillion dollar company for leaving an entire cast of actors hanging after signing them for a 6 movie contract? 😭😭😭
ScreenRant@screenrant

"[#Eternals] didn't do that well. It shattered me too much... I was like, 'Oh, this is going to be my job for the next 10 years.' I signed on for six movies. I signed on for a video game... a theme park ride... And then none of that happened." - ICYMI, #Marvel star Kumail Nanjiani. ✨ More: screenrant.com/eternals-kumai…

Saw a TikTok comment that spelled audacity “odasity” Someone replied “crazy spelling lol” OP said “I’m supposed to know how to spell every word?” It’s gotten to a point. There is no thirst for knowledge. In fact I think you all want to know less.

@MikeKalinowski No, Marvel DID leave them. Fans were not the ones who gave the actors contracts that explicitly said that they’d be in six movies.

@ThatComicFan3 People will defend the billion dollar company if they feel like it’s an own to the movie they don’t like. A lot of people have fake morals on this app and are very glad to not support the human being over the corporation

@AzuraRacon @WiseGuyInc97 @ThatComicFan3 If it was actually a breach that would be an easy lawsuit, why are we just assuming the contract details. For all we know it could of had a clause that required the first movie to do well.

@FattestDolphin @DailyWarlockDM @I_am_Tus literally no word was a used as a buzzword… yes i know they’re also being put in poor white communities but it’s predominantly black communities.. it’s racial and it’s socioeconomic and a lot of times those two things work together. in the instance of ai, both are happening
