Peter that hasn't united Anambra State people as one, is aiming to bring Nigeria together and in one term mind you. Some want presidency, others want separation. "We are not a united nation; my primary goal is to bring Nigeria together", -coming from someone who can't even unify a polital party, with LP and ADC being the last ones he ran away from at the slightest inconvenience. OK.

Look at the fear and pain written across this man’s face in the final moments before he was beheaded by bandits. Tell me… is this how a human being is supposed to die? What was his crime? Was it simply trying to provide daily bread for his family? He left home like every other Nigerian, hoping to return alive. He never knew the journey would end in horror, tears, and bloodshed. At that moment, I can only imagine the thoughts running through his mind… His wife… His children… His unfinished dreams… His cry for mercy that probably never came. 😭 Our elders say the jollof rice served at burials tastes sweet until the fire is burning in your own compound. Today, it is someone else’s pain. Tomorrow, it could be ours if this evil continues unchecked. And the pain does not end with him. More than 45 innocent people are still being held in the forest by these wicked men. Some are only 4 or 5 years old. Little children who should be sleeping safely beside their mothers are now surrounded by fear, hunger, and terror. For days, many of them have not eaten a decent meal. Many have been beaten, tortured, humiliated. And the women and young girls… only God knows the horrors they are facing in captivity. 💔 My heart breaks for them. My heart breaks for the hundreds of students abducted in Borno State just days ago. My heart breaks for the thousands of Nigerians trapped in kidnappers’ dens across this nation while the world watches in silence. Nigeria is bleeding. Families are crying. Children are becoming orphans overnight. Mothers are burying their sons. Wives are becoming widows in a single phone call. “How long, O Lord? Will You forget us forever?” — Psalm 13:1 But even in this darkness, we hold onto God’s promise: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 🙏 One day, this season of bloodshed and tears shall pass. One day, God will wipe away the tears of His people. One day, peace will return again.

I just watched this disturbing video of nursery school pupils of Community Primary School, Umuora Obulechi, Oriuzor, in Ezza North LGA of Ebonyi State, receiving lessons in their terrible classroom. The government just suspended the teacher and principal for letting someone show the rot in this school. This same state spent billions sending a handful of persons to the UK for education while ignoring the poor children and poor families. Let’s find the suspended teachers and support them. We can pay them a year salary each and find other ways to support them. For the government that suspended them, shame on you. Fix this school for Christ sake and don’t be wicked to these children.

Dear @WorldBankGroup, For the second time, stop enabling our politicians to destroy our country. There is nothing beneficial to the citizens from the loan given to them. They only share it among themselves and use the rest to buy votes for re-election. Stop giving President Tinubu loans. We Nigerians are pleading!

Sad: Schoolchildren Now ‘Pawns in Ransom Economy’ There is nothing more heartbreaking for a nation than an inability to protect its children. The recent attacks and kidnappings of students from two schools—in Mussa Village, Askira/Uba LGA, Borno State (North-East) and Ahoro-Esinele community, Oriire Local Government Area, Oyo State (South-West)—mark a grave crisis that threatens the future of the nation. Beyond the immediate terror of these acts, they represent a significant infringement on the basic right to education and a safe upbringing. The fear of further abduction often leads children—especially girls—to permanently leave school. The ongoing “out-of-school” crisis is alarming in itself, and it is likely to worsen due to these distressing incidents. In areas frequently affected by such attacks, education systems often deteriorate. Fear becomes a substantial obstacle to school enrollment, adding to the already high number of children currently not attending school. Ensuring the safety of schools is not just a logistical issue; it is a moral obligation. Protecting the next generation demands a blend of community-led intelligence, the physical strengthening of educational facilities, and a transparent justice system that holds wrongdoers accountable. For the actualization of a new Nigeria that is POssible, we must make the safety, education, and wellbeing of our children a priority. -PO
