El odio ya no es una emoción. Es un producto que algunos fabrican y distribuyen para enriquecerse con él. Mientras, la sociedad entera sufre. Tú también.

I am deeply concerned about the significant escalation of hostilities and the risk for further worsening of the situation in Lebanon & in the region. Only a political solution will bring lasting stability. We urge all parties to recommit to the full implementation of UNSCR 1701

International Law, which includes the prohibition to use force to settle international disputes, is an integral, binding part of the EU Treaties. Its "expiration" cannot be decreed by anyone in a speech. Each EU institution should work in accordance to its respective competence.

Ethiopia's last war in Tigray essentially ended as a result of the introduction of drones by the ENDF. Those same drones are now the opening salvo of a new war that is sure to look very different from the last one. reuters.com/world/africa/d…

Today marks 1000 days of war in #Sudan. A tragedy for millions of people impacted by this brutal conflict. Days can be counted, but the continued suffering of our Sudanese brothers & sisters, & refugees they host is immeasurable. The conflict must end. Peace & solutions. Now.

International funding for #MineAction fell by 5% in 2024 (#LandmineMonitor2025). #Ukraine remained the top recipient for the 3rd year running, while affected States Parties—especially in #Africa—kept struggling to attract support. #Major-Findings-183992" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">the-monitor.org/online-reader/…

Absolut MUST Watch! Joe Biden's top official for Europe Amanda Sloat casually admitting explosive facts that the Blob not only suppressed for years, but you would have been accused of being a Putin apologist if you ever raised. Remember the energy expended to silence and DISCREDIT anyone pointing to Nato expansion as ONE of the causes of the war and that if Nato membership for Ukraine was taken off the table, the war could have been avoided/stopped? At Quincy, we were attacked from every direction for pointing out this reasonable assessment. And now, Sloat says in an interview that had Ukraine opted for neutrality, it "may well have" prevented the war and the invasion. Now, after 100,000s dead and many voices in the West who pointed this out at the time silenced or discredited, Sloat asks "Would that [Ukraine neutrality] have been better to do before the war started [or]... in the Istanbul talks (April 2024)? It certainly would have prevented the destruction and the loss of life." But remember, at the time, arguing that taking the FALSE option of Ukraine NATO membership (since the US had no plan of letting Ukraine into NATO anyways) was met with disdain. The argument was not that it wouldn't work, but rather, "NATO expansion has nothing to do with the war and if you say that it does, you are on Putin's side." Those who killed the chance to prevent the war should be remembered similarly as those who started this illegal invasion - as well as those who started the illegal invasion of Iraq.

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission Urges Restraint Amid Escalating Tensions in the Great Lakes Region. The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, is following with deep concern the evolving situation in the Great Lakes region, in particular the developments in South Kivu in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, as well in Cibitoke Province, #Burundi. The Chairperson deeply regrets these clashes and the violence perpetrated against civilian populations, which run counter to the momentum generated by the Doha Framework Agreement between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Alliance Fleuve Congo/Movements of 23 March (AFC/M23), as well as the Washington D.C. Agreement between the DRC and Rwanda. He calls on all stakeholders to exercise restraint and to prioritise a political solution. The Chairperson expresses his solidarity, and that of the African Union, with the affected civilian populations in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi. He reiterates the African Union’s long-standing position that lasting peace in the Great Lakes region is predicated on full respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all States. In this regard, he reiterates the condemnation of any attempt to establish a parallel administration in eastern #DRC. He further calls on all States in the region to honour their commitments under the Addis Ababa Framework Agreement and to fully comply with the Pact on Non-Aggression and Mutual Defence of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region. Finally, the Chairperson @ymahmoudali reaffirms the African Union’s readiness to work closely with all regional and international stakeholders with a view to reinvigorating a regional security dialogue aimed at bringing an end to instability in the Great Lakes region. The article goes beyond the Rwanda–DRC deal: it shows a broader dynamic — territories where state authority recedes and non-state actors entrench autonomous orders with no intent to reconnect with capitals and uphold the idea of national unity. reuters.com/investigations…
