At chemo this morning, a woman came in for the 1st time. Post mastectomy, I could tell she was scared. Her husband was with her. I could tell he was annoyed. Brought his laptop, constantly worked, texted. At one point, she started to cry & he told her she was embarrassing him. Then her dad came, I think unplanned. After 5 minutes & 1 nasty comment from the husband, Dad got pissed & kicked him out. Loudly. Then told daughter she & the kids were coming to his house. 2 sides - one coin.

During the first airing of my Star Trek series where a kiss was objectionable; many southern stations pulled the episode & condemned the show. The first time I used the women’s bathroom as a trans woman, I was honestly terrified 😅 I kept thinking everyone would stare, or someone would say something... But nothing happened 🙋🏻‍♀️ I just walked into a stall, used the bathroom, washed my hands, and left. Just like every other woman there 👀🏳️‍⚧️

In 1984, an 11-year-old boy was raped for 1 year by his karate teacher, the pederast Jeffred Doucet, in California (USA), even being kidnapped and tortured in a motel. The boy's father, upon finding out, disguised himself at the Louisiana airport where Doucet was going to be transferred for trial. When he passed by his side, he shot him in the head. When asked why he did it, he replied: “I couldn’t stand it, he raped and tortured my 11-year-old son. If someone did that to your son, you would do it too.” He was sentenced to 7 years, but served only 5 years of probation and 300 hours of community service, without entering prison. So my area director, hearing that I started my vacation today, wanted me to come into work and stay until 12 because the store managers had an impromptu meeting. I said not a single word when he kept mentioning it yesterday. Guess where I DIDNT go today. Then talking about "be a team player!" Baby, I was a team player when my PTO magically disappeared last year and I had to forgo vacation since June. So fuck that. He'll probably be mad. But I won't know until March 18th. 🙂

I went to get my nails done today and the girl sitting next to me had just finished hers. She reached for her wallet to pay, and the nail artist smiled and said, “You don’t have to pay for the entire year.” The whole salon went quiet. He explained that her fiancé had already booked and paid for an annual nail appointment package for her. A whole year. She lit up and said, “I love my fiancé so much. She’s so considerate & thoughtful.” And I’m not even going to lie.. a man could never! the moment she said she, I wasn’t shocked anymore. Because a man’s “princess treatment” is just a lesbian’s bare minimum. Women who date a woman are happiest.
