This has literally been my experience over the past few weeks. Ive just successfully gotten OAuth for Meta and TikTok! Goodness gracious that was tedious. Twitter will have you thinking you can just build and ship an app in one afternoon😂, yeah that ain't happening as a beginner. That dream of a super fast build and ship time is what has led me to even try though so I don't even blame Twitter. Im thankful. On the learning front, man I can talk about that forever. Just learning how to use Claude correctly in the first place was and still is a process. In my first few weeks I was using Opus 4.6 for EVERYTHING!😭 When I hit my first weekly limit on a Monday afternoon, I was shook😂 The amount of $$ down the drain, from topping up, oh Lord save me. It has been an insane learning curve so far and I'm just about to get into setting up backend e.t.c Im pretty sure the curve is gonna get steeper even.

Being a BUILDER is incredibly involved. There is far more to the process of building apps that most people would imagine… even when you have AI to help you. The approval process for getting approved by Google and YouTube for your app connectivity is incredibly specific and you have to do everything in the right order to make that happen or start over. API keys are simple to generate but very bothersome to manage, particularly when you have a lot of them. Setting up the separate email accounts you need is also very tedious work all by itself. Then there is the hosting and the DNS side. Honestly @Hostinger is the easiest hosting platform get ever used at this point, and I’m kicking myself for not listening to more you sooner and using them! And of course if you want to setup another business, instead of your current LLC, you’ll want to use @ZenBusinessInc For monitoring you will want to setup @sentry And for automatic database backups you’ll want to setup @clouldflare All while also having your repo and versioning on @github Most of the material on this stuff is spread out everywhere and not in any coherent order. If you’re fortunate you can ask AI for a lot of guidance and helpful with preflight and to make you mark down files for a lot of it and for hand off to @claudeai @ManusAI and @Replit But even then, there are a lot of really important details you may not know to ask for if you don’t have experience in development or if you were only casual about it before. I actually think Vibe Code building can only make people smarter… Trying to ship something in a week will teach you more than a semester in school… it’s not even close.

Claude Code on desktop lets you select DOM elements directly, much easier than describing which component you want updated! Claude gets the tag, classes, key styles, surrounding HTML, and a cropped screenshot. React apps also get the source file, component name and props
