I find it amazingly difficult to understand what Congress does the majority of the time. You profess to be legislators and yet you,all of you, put on one big kabuki show when you try to pass a bill into law. We all know you’re not writing bills because you don’t know what’s in it until it’s time to vote. Then, if it gets passed, you’ll say it’s not perfect. Who the hell accepts “not perfect”? What school did you go to? Order a damn pizza and only half of it has anything on it. You call the store and complain and they tell you, hey it’s a pizza, it’s not perfect but you can still eat it. Go buy a car. A brand new car. Drive it off the lot and the air conditioning quits. Try to roll down the windows and only one works but it only rolls down 2 inches. But hey, it’s a new car and you can drive it. Are you getting the point? Stop trying to blow smoke up our asses. Stop getting a paycheck for a full time job when you’re only working part time. Damn it, if it takes burning down the house to get rid of the rats so be it. Get to work and pass substinative legislation the keeps America great. One simple bill is not enough. Stop the theater. Stop telling us how hard you worked to do your job, it’s your job. And please stop grandstanding like we should lavish praise on you for making the pizza right one time. Your arrogance is tiresome. We the American people who employ you are fed up. Fix it or we will. God Bless America. This is our Independence Day.

Meet Stanley Woodward. He’s the new Trump appointed nominee for Associate Attorney General at the DOJ. He’s awaiting his confirmation in front of the Senate. Stanley Woodward and his wife Kristin McGough are both progressive Democrats. His wife sued Donald Trump in 2020, and they are both massive supporters of Black Lives Matter. Every single MAGA voter needs to call their GOP Senators and tell them to not vote to confirm Stanley Woodward. Associate Attorney General is the 3rd most powerful role at the DOJ. I’m willing to bet anything Trump’s staff didn’t show @POTUS any of the oppo I dug up about Woodward and his wife. Some of his staff constantly gaslight him and hide important information from him and then pretend they don’t when they get called out for it. This is UNACCEPTABLE. What a slap in the face to MAGA!

I just had a very disturbing Good Friday encounter with an ICE agent at the airport As I was going through security, an ICE agent asked me for my ID. I told him this isn’t Soviet Russia and that the only citizenship papers I planned to show him were the Declaration of Independence “Sir, I’m just asking for ID, not proof of citizenship,” he said. “Today is the anniversary of Jesus’s resurrection,” I replied. “He was an American. Would you have asked to see his papers too? Would the scars on his hands not have been enough for you?” He was stunned silent.
