I am in a state that I already get happy if I have a teammate who calls what angle they holding. Most of my games are just individuals running around doing some random shit without communicating, it really ruins the enjoyment. Nevertheless we keep grinding 🤠🙌🏼

Open Letter to Faceit: The ELO Imbalance in CS2 is Ruining Competitive Play🌠 Dear Faceit Team, @FACEIT @FACEITcs @FACEITSupport @FACEIT_Darwin As passionate players of both CSGO and CS2, we are reaching out to express our growing concerns over the serious issues arising from the current ELO system. Since the transition to CS2, matchmaking has become unbalanced, resulting in unfair games and a frustrating experience for many high-level players. Of course, I’m aware that people can improve over the course of a year, but there is still a huge difference between being at the start of 2000 ELO and playing in 4000+ ELO lobbies. I would argue that it's very difficult for the average player to improve that much. However, I do acknowledge that there are unique individuals out there who can. 🙃 Here are the key issues we’ve identified: ELO Inconsistencies: 📡 Players who were hovering around 1800-2500 ELO in CSGO are now suddenly playing in lobbies with 3000+ ELO in CS2. This makes no sense given their historical performance. How can someone who never surpassed 2000 in CSGO be thrown into 3000+ ELO lobbies now? They’re either boosted or bought their accounts, and it’s affecting the integrity of the games. Unfair Matchups: 👽 It’s common now to have players in high ELO lobbies (3000+) who are completely out of their depth, dragging their team down against players who were once 4000-5000 ELO in CSGO. Their lack of knowledge and experience stands out, and they become the main reason teams lose, ruining the competitive integrity of the matches. ELO Readjustment Backfire: ↙️ The ELO recalibration that happened post-CS2 launch has mixed legit high ELO players with those who have never played at that level, turning matches into a coin flip. High ELO players are being forced into lobbies with players who haven’t earned their ranks, making games unbalanced and frustrating. Misleading ELO Gains: 😂 Players who barely scratched 2000-2500 in CSGO are now getting inflated ranks without earning them. While some may be happy with their higher ELO, it’s not always a true reflection of their skill. Impact on Competitive Integrity: 😓 I’ve personally experienced games where someone with 2200 peak ELO in CSGO is suddenly sitting at 3000 in CS2, while our entire team is above 3000+. These players often lack the experience and game sense needed to compete at this level. In contrast, ex-4500+ players are struggling to climb back due to this chaotic matchmaking. I’ve seen @n0rb3r7_CSGO from @virtuspro complain about this, as well as @smooyacs and many other competitive players. Suggestions for Improvement: 🦐 Account Recalibration: ✅Consider recalibrating inactive or questionable accounts to prevent boosted or unearned ranks from ruining games for active, skilled players. Stricter ELO Placement: ✅ Ensure that players with large discrepancies between their CSGO and CS2 ELO are properly placed based on actual skill, not inflated ranks. Prioritize Fair Matchmaking: ✅ Restore fairness by keeping high ELO lobbies exclusive to players who’ve consistently performed at that level across both games. This ELO system is discouraging high-level players from continuing to play, as the competitive integrity of Faceit is quickly deteriorating. We hope you can address these concerns before more players lose faith in the platform.

Met de BYOC LANS weer in zicht en het stoppen van @EliteSeriesCS denk ik dat het belangrijk is voor onze CS scene dat deze lans weer gaan leven en daarom heb ik een overzicht gemaakt van de aankomende lans. RT's appreciated docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d…

The Netherlands will win 2-1, pretty obvious to me so I'm "risking" the last "money" I had in the bank on it. #WorldCup2022
