The US has turned to Ukrainian developers, Reuters reports, and has already installed the Ukrainian “Sky Map” air defense system at the important US Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. This is the first time that technologies tested in Ukraine’s four-year war against Russia have been used to protect US military installations from Iranian attacks. Sky Map is a system that collects data from thousands of acoustic sensors, radars, and cameras to create a digital threat map. This allows the military to instantly detect enemy drones (including Iranian “Shaheeds”) and coordinate their destruction.
