@Sparvey_Hecter@DRSunlocked Waving the white flag that easily huh? I always knew you merc fanboys were not only clueless but spineless as well. Toto would be so proud of you lol
Most asked question on f1twt these days: How close is Ferrari to Mercedes?
Answer: They are as close as Merc want them to be.
Motorsport dot com calls out straight line speed and tyre deg as Ferrari's main weaknesses.
“And while it's early days, they calculate an average race-pace deficit of 0.61 seconds per lap and qualifying gap of 0.58 seconds:
In other words, Mercedes currently appears extremely dominant - to an extent not seen since the beginning of the hybrid era. The current advantage even exceeds McLaren's dominance in 2025 (0.31 seconds), as well as Red Bull's dominance in 2023 (0.57 seconds), when Max Verstappen won 19 of the 22 races.
Even in 2020, the year of the famous DAS system and 13 wins from 17 races, Mercedes was statistically less dominant. At that time the average advantage over Red Bull was 0.55 seconds. Comparable dominance was last seen between 2014 and 2016,
again by Mercedes.”

@Sparvey_Hecter@DRSunlocked It wasn't a coincidence considering the fact that FIA closed that loophole which Ferrari had been exploiting in 2019, hence the drop in performance in 2020. The same thing would happen to Mercedes if FIA would close that 18:1 compression ratio loophole. You're trying and failing.
@Ferrari_Power1@DRSunlocked Yeah ok it must have been coincidence then that after the FIA enforced a new fuel flow meter their performance suddenly put them with the mid-field teams. And that secret agreement were probably just blanc sheets since they did nothing wrong 😄
@Sparvey_Hecter@DRSunlocked Like you said: FIA is the boss. So that means Ferrari's 2019 engine wasn't illegal. You have to believe their story and admit that Ferrari simply did a better job. Gotcha! 🫵😂
@Sparvey_Hecter@DRSunlocked So you happily agree that Ferrari did a better job in 2019 with their engine too and that engine should've never been banned because FIA couldn't prove Ferrari did anything illegal, right? Come on dude say it: Ferrari did a better job in 2019. I wanna see something
@Ferrari_Power1@DRSunlocked The FIA are the boss dude. The engine passed all tests. Merc did a better job. Even Vasseur agrees the compression thing isn't where their deficit is.
@Sparvey_Hecter@DRSunlocked I wonder if the roles were reversed and it would be Ferrari using that engine then would you be just as accepting of Ferrari's and FIA's side of the story? Of course not. It's only ok when it's merc cheating
@charIesrry I'm not talking about last year. This has been the case since 2019...every single year, every single week, every single day. There's no doubt that Charles has done an exceptional job and driven superbly well but when the car is competitive then you need to give credit to team too
@Ferrari_Power1 wasn’t that the case last year or are we gonna act stupid about how bad the car was? 4th fastest or worse in some races isn’t something to be proud of, charles did a great job despite the car so let’s give credit where is due, and this has nothing to do with the main post
@charIesrry The ironic thing is that a great driver like Charles doesn't really even need any aura building at all and certainly not at the expense of Ferrari, the team that Charles himself has always loved so much.
@Ferrari_Power1 we are not competitive against mercedes which was THE point. i dont know how this whole aura thing you’re mentioning is even relevant to this conversation, just talking bs for no reason
@RiskyGrayer@Ferrari_com_ar According to some reports the SF-26 is also 8 kg overweight (dunno how true that is tho). So if the team can put the car on a diet and shed all that excess weight then we could also gain significant performance.

@charIesrry How is pointing out something so obvious "stupid"? I mean your page is all about building Leclerc's aura, no? That's a basic observation, not an insult. And I never said I want to settle for being 2nd best. I said that Ferrari is competitive, which it undoubtedly is.
@Ferrari_Power1 and why do you want to settle for being second best? is that gonna win us a championship when mercedes are too far ahead? and please say something smart instead of talking about someone’s aura, thats a very stupid thing to say
@Sparvey_Hecter@DRSunlocked Allegedly...
If merc's engine was legal then they wouldn't have begged FIA to push the hot temperature testing deadline to June. If they have nothing to hide then why are they still so against hot testing? Clearly they are doing something outside the rules.
