@CatholicPods @_BLACKCATHOLIC Hi, this is from the Royal English College of St Alban in Valladolid, Spain. It's not my image but we prayed this today soon after the announcement. We have 23 College martyrs, 6 Saints and 17 Blesseds martyred during the persecutions in England after the Reformation. God bless.

@KatiePMcGrady Has this guy every had a positive, hopeful take about anything happening in the Church ever? All I see is moaning, facetious, childish tweets. So may Christians bolstering, and coming to the faith, and all this guy does is complain because it's not how he would have done it.

Talk to absolutely anyone involved in the Revival, and they’ll immediately tell you the entire thing is focused on forming, empowering, & sending forth Eucharistic missionaries.
This hit job of this remarkable moment is embarrassing at best & malicious at worst.
Austen Ivereigh@austeni
“The revival focuses on individual rather than community …. on me and Jesus rather than the communion of Christians. It focuses on what happens to bread & wine rather than what happens to the community … on personal experience rather than mission.” religionnews.com/2024/07/08/euc…

@armusik @FistJealous This is the Basilica of St Mary (Kościół Mariacki), found in the Main Market in Kraków in Poland. The altar piece was completed at the end of the 15th Century, carved by Wit Stwosz.

@FistJealous I'd really like to know myself. It's so intricate. Absolutely brilliant

@FrMatthewLC It is odd, for such a supposed expert on the topic of Rupnik, I've never seen Austen acknowledge, let alone respond to this basic fact.

If sexual abuse was part of the process of creating art, it is not just art by a sexual abuser, but can rightly be called "sexual abuse art."

Austen Ivereigh@austeni
@FrMatthewLC @VaticanNews There is no thing as “sexual abuse art”, Matthew, any more than there is a “sexual abuse Eucharist” consecrated by a priest who has abused. The thing stands by itself (or not, as the case may be).

Let us #PrayTogether that women and men religious, and seminarians, grow in their own vocational journey through human, pastoral, spiritual, and community formation, which leads them to be credible witnesses of the Gospel. #PrayerIntention #ClickToPray

We are very pleased to announce that His Grace, Archbishop Bernard, has accepted Douglas Grantham and Filip Gronkiewicz as seminarians for @RCBirmingham, beginning formation this autumn.
Please keep them and all our seminarians in your prayers.

@PappaSciarappa Some people don't appreciate the Mass as a gift and a sacrifice, they see it as a theatrical production that they've earned the right have personalised because they put $2 in the basket every week.

As many prepare Nativity scenes in their homes ahead of Christmas, #PopeFrancis says it is not enough for Christians to see the Nativity as "something nice"
"Before the mystery of the Incarnation of the word, before the birth of Jesus, one needs a religious attitude of wonder."

Contemplative women are the voice of the Church as she ceaselessly praises, thanks, implores, and intercedes for all humanity. Their prayer makes them co-workers of God. May we show our gratitude and tangible support for them. #ProOrantibus

@LouDColo @davidfig1596 Well, the problem is these people either don't believe in heaven, or Christ's true Godliness. I am wholly convinced that their rejection of sacred tradition of Our Lady and her titles comes from a deeper abandonment of the faith.
English

@davidfig1596 You know, if where I’m spending eternity depended on someone’s judgment, I personally wouldn’t spend my time insulting his mother. But that’s just me, I guess.
English

@LouDColo I've given up on that guy. He's just like the faith alone dude, too wrapped up in hating and trying to dunk on faithful Christians rather than deepening his faith. Maybe if he switched priorities, he could come to the truth. We must pray!
English

@FrChurchgate @PillarCatholic Why so full of hatred. Instead of rationalising and accepting the truth, you choose to emotionalise and refuse the logical explanation given. No one said it was the best, or most reverent way, but that doesn't mean it was done with bad intention, or is reflective of WYD. Grow up.
English

@PillarCatholic I knew you two grifters would find away to explain and justify all this. The Pillar is a joke snd so are it’s founders.
English

Wondering about those plastic ciboria used at World Youth Day? Or the grey boxes in which the Eucharist was reserved?
